I hired Mary to represent me in my divorce. She handled all aspects of my case and even kept me in the loop while I was away on business. Mary was professional, reasonable and very honest and up front with me regarding the potential outcomes and costs. From beginning to end she was great. I now recommend anyone else I know to Mary.

Un professional, poor preparation and absolutely no strategy. That was my experience with Mary Whipple. And I was one of her largest clients, from a billing stand point while with her. She showed up to the single most important deposition, the accountant valueing my ex spouses firm and asked less than 10 questions. Opposing counsel had 10 pages of very carefully crafted questions. She went into final negotiations with a private judge and could not articulate any of the findings of the Valuation firm she had me hire, could not articulate why the previous judge ordered my ex-souse to make support payments and did not prepare to defend on an inheritance issue. In fee arbitration she was found to have over billed me by thousands of dollars. I ended up having to pay another lawyer to clean up her mess AFTER she forced me to make a verbal agreement with the private judge. Also refused to reduce the remainder of her bill after all of these mistakes. Low end minor leagues.

Mary Whipple was my rescue hero that flew out of the clouds amidst a NASTY divorce and custody battle. I credit Ms. Whipple to the reason I didn't lose my sanity. I ABSOLUTELY would recomend her services to anyone in need of a great lawyer. I'm about to retain her for the second time and am confident she will play fair and represent me proudly in court!

Run, run, run away! I hired her specifically to secure a QDRO, which someone else was to prepare, and she not only didn't do that, but had no idea of what it was or how it worked. When I had extremely basic questions, she sent me to her friend for answers, and acted like I should have been grateful for the handout. The only action taken on her part was to copy and paste my words from emails and send them to the opposing attorney. For $4,000! And I still don't have a QDRO. She offered no guidance and undertook no actions unless I prompted her to do so. I am currently looking for another attorney to finally see this through. On a side note, I have 3 other friends that had to fire her, also. Different issues, but same reasons. Please don't waste your time, money and emotional stability on this attorney. You'll be better off with eeny meeny miney moe in the phone book.
