For $1200 CAD, my attorney at Kahane and I concluded that Alberta was the wrong jurisdiction for my matter. The monies were taken out of the retainer that I had paid. It was not my decision. My Ontario attorney, for $1350 CAD, wrote and submitted a full complaint.
Please note that Jeffrey Kahane threatened me with a lawsuit by a ski buddy attorney in New Jersey (my State of residence) should I post negative reviews.

We did not expect a lawyer to be so friendly and helpful. All the stereotypes are not true with Jeff Kahane. He cared and was great to deal with and his fees are reasonable (we called around a lot).

bad place really, actually the worst, these guys are toothless worms that have no power in the real world, I waited weeks for a response and I would not get one if I didn't inquire about whether or not these clowns can help me only to find out they cannot (they are not taking on any matters that is) worthless useless service if you can even call it service, stay away from them, I'll be sure to pass the word along of this incompetent "company"

Worst law firm ever... I recently purchase house... which was biggest mistake to use them as my lawyer.. they never follow up and I am the one have to chase them for information.. price reasonable.. but I should looked for another lawyer for better service. they are worse law firm I ever dealt with..

Down to earth real people. Who knew lawyers came that way. Average prices but excellent service made them exceptional value. You feel welcome the moment you walk in their front door. (I actually accidentally used the side staff door and they were super friendly and welcoming too!)

These lawyers went beyond what their fees covered. The people selling us our hoe really tried to screw us. Kahane saved us, got what we wanted for a result and did not charge us a penny more. So happy, we are now doing our wills with them. Steve T.

Our expeience on the sale of our home when we moved to Toronto was fantastic. We had a very unfortunate expeierce with the sale and the whole team at Kahane Law was amazing. They followed up with us and our realtor. The previous comments do not reflect this firm. Check for your self. Their fees are average (if not a little below) but amazing service!. I suspect that the comments were poseted by a competator who cannot match the service and uses anonemous postings. Kahane Law is where you want to be and their numberous service awards reflect it.

I had the worst experience with Sherry Flaggon - real estate conveyancer at Kahane Law Office - I dont know why Mr. Kahane doesnt hire competetent staff.

I used this law office to handle a real estate transaction. It was a horrible experience from start to finish. They were so bad, my own divorce attorney ended up handling most of the transaction. They caused alot of stress and did not complete the transaction by the close date. My real estate agent also had to call them non stop to get updates. She has said in 30 years of real estate she has never dealt with a worse law firm.

I was a recent client of Kahane's. Their value exceeds the 5 on this scale. They saved me thousands on my payout penalty when I sold and, because they took the time to read my purchase contract, saved me almost $4K on my purchase.

Agree with previous commenters. He has a terrible condescending attitude, his service is sub-par, customer service is next to none,$$$ written all over this is a kind of lawyer who makes the rest of them look bad. I had to change a lawyer in the middle of transaction
