Linda Rockwell was VERY rude to a potential client. My niece went in for a consult on a custody/child support proceeding. Linda was rude from the get go, when my niece told her she was there for full custody she told her there was no such thing. She said that there was only sole or joint. My niece didn't feel her semantics lesson was helpful or a very nice way to start the conversation, eventually she told me I should not have had kids with someone like my ex if I didn't want to share custody. Not sensitive to her feelings and overall not very nice. She even had my niece crying because of rude attitude and words. My niece did not feel like she would be a good advocate for her needs. Being her aunt and in the legal field I would definitely not recommend her.

Very knowledgeable about the law and the court system. She resolved a very difficult problem for me very quickly.

Linda Rockwell is very professional. She is willing to work with you and understand New Mexico Family Court System. The system is slow but she has a very expensive knowledge of the system and the people that work within it. She is very successful father advocate. My case took 8 years...she was there the whole way!

Linda is a delightful person, unfortunately she was a totally ineffective advocate. Linda would always talk a good game and express a great deal of confidence, however, in front of Judge Whitefield, she was a disaster. She never won a single motion and Whiteflield seemed to ignore her. My case dragged on for two years and Linda was powerless to accomplish anything. Only after brining in another attorney was I able to get the case to trial where the judge just split everything in half. Linda charged about $75K for services that did nothing to resolve my case. Furthermore, she allowed a worthless GAL and a discovery master to ring up another $25k in fees. I interviewed several other attorneys when replacing her and nobody had a kind word to say about her.

Incredibly rude, in and out of court. Unwilling to negotiate outside of court unless it's in the hallway when you're supposed to be in the courtroom already. Encourages her clients not to communicate. Trying to work out ANYTHING with my ex regarding my two young children has become absolutely impossible since she became involved. She doesn't return any communication from me (I am pro se in my case). Not objective at all. Not interested in what's best for the children involved. If you want someone to stick it to your ex, then go for her. If you want someone who will guide you through the legal system while helping you do what's best for your children, she's not the right choice.

I am so happy that I chose Linda Rockwell as my divorce attorney. She did an excellent job for me, and her charges were much less than my wife's attorney's were.

Rude. Is not objective at all. No thanks. pass on this divorce attorney. She needs to leave her personal experiences at home. Not all situations are like her situation...

This lawyer has represented me and members of my family for year. She is always prepared and very assertive when we have to go to court, but she settles most of our matters out of court. The judges and the other attorneys like her. She is friendly and doesn't make you afraid to go to the lawyer's office. She usually has chocolate.
