My family just closed my house from Joseph chan law office. Very smooth and he is a very nice guy and his team are very helpful. I am very happy for his service and will recommend my friends to him too.

I hired Joseph as my lawyer in Feb, and he is very nice and knowledgeable, he explained everything to me in detail and provide me with update frequently. And since this is my first home, me and my boy friend knew nothing about the whole procedure but he explained everything to me and guide me through the whole process. I would recommend him to others. My family has closed 3 transactions with him since last year. And we have no complaint about him.

I think he is very mean and not good at math, he got wrong number to calculate the days. Not a good guy to communicate.

Joseph is really knowledgeable and the law clerks are very helpful. I have been using this lawyer since 2015 and he helped my family closed 3 transactions. I would recommend this lawyer to my friends and family.

Joseph and his team are probably some of the worst people to hire for work. They expect you to get back to them as soon as possible, but whenever you need something, they take long to reply, and they never pick up their phone. They also have terrible bedside manner and they don't make you feel like a valued client.

I never believed in lawyer "stereo-types" until I dealt with this lawyer and his office. I was intially referred for real estate by a family friend and therefore had that "trust." I inquired about family law as it was not advertised on their website and was informed they provide the service. I was asked to pay a good chunk of money to represent me and verbally agreed to pay the amount in 5 monthly installments from the get go. I found it "fishy" to have to ask for a bill many times and asked to explain what I am paying for or what the amount covered. There are lengthy wait times for getting responses on inquiries w/o any information given if out of town..etc. The last inquiry I made re stmt of acct was left unanswered. (in which case is currently escalated) I had the opportunity to compare with another lawyer and I think I've been "had" as was billed triple times the amount other party paid handling the same case. All I can say is "consumer beware."
