Kathryn went far and above what anyone else would have for me. Both in the court room and as a supportive source to help me understand what was happening and what was the best course of action. She was prompt professional and unafraid to step in the ring with my narcissistic ex. She knew what he would pull and navigated and got out in front of it every single time.

Kathryn was assigned as OCL for my family case. Ex has history of abuse, manipulation and criminal record, but all evidence of this was ignored or not taken into account. When trying to push Kathryn to look more closely at evidence provided she talked down and minimized. Its unfortunate people like her are in the position that she is in because she has a huge effect on whether or not actual justice and safety can be achieved for families and children in complex and difficult cases.

I had the pleasure of working with Kathryn, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very first meeting, it was clear that she was not only highly knowledgeable but also deeply committed to me. She took on my case when she didn't need to. She always took the time to listen to my concerns, explained the legal process in a way I could easily understand, and provided strategic advice tailored to my situation. Legal aid client. Kathryn did not respond to questions, emails or calls. Did not demonstrate a desire to help, only went through the motions and ended up not continuing the case without notifying me. Leaving me to find a new lawyer and starting again out of pocket. Staff rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend.

Kathryn just finished up a 4.5 battle with me. Kathryn is amazing. Sometimes she can be a little tough on her clients but it's honestly worth it. Communicating with her office can be a little tough.. I had many many many emails unanswered but then when I would talk to Kathryn she would know what was going on, and I understand that they have a lot of clients to deal with. She dealt with the harassment, abuse and general ****gery from my ex. When it came down to trial she went at my ex in the most beautiful way possible and I was so pleasantly surprised. We should have been a quick easy case but my ex dragged it out and Kathryn was nothing but patient and determined. She once even attended a zoom conference from a hospital room! Legal aid didn't pay this woman nearly what she was worth.

I first met Kathryn in 1996. She was extremely on point during my support/separation. Kathryn is more than fair to even my ex. Then in 2005 I called for my next situation. The father of my two kids was trying to fight for access (he was a convicted child ****/woman beater) and Kathryn stepped up and nailed it! He in the end got nothing, no access and I got sole custody. Then in 2013 Kathryn fought the CAS regarding the same two children and she won that also! Kathryn is the most amazing lawyer ever! Most recently I called her after hours and she answer and remembered me after all this time. Even though it was after hours she still took the time to talk to me. She then in a matter of one minute she had already called a colleague she had referred. When I called that lawyer, she already knew who I was. Kathryn is absolutely the BEST!

Ms. Junger accepted a legal aid certificate without my permission and I never heard from her again. Accepting a certificate is acknowledging that she is now representing client (but did not have my approval). This way, you have to go through the entire process again to get a new legal aid certificate. What a complete joke and abuse of position. No doubt there have been a number of complaints about her. Unprofessional, unethical and not someone you want on your side.

Kathryn Junger is an amazing lawyer. Her and her team are all good. They are very good lawyers. I had 2 tough cases that are done now. I recommend to anyone who needs a lawyer. Thank you Kathryn for everything you and your team did.

she threatens to sue legal aid clients to extort for more money... do not use her. she does not care about the person.she did nothing to move the case forward. 4 years later it was still at square one. Buyer beware, her office has written the positive reviews.

This Lawyer wastes time. NEVER returns calls and rarely listens. Called her 4 times in a 3 week span when court was coming up in less than a month and NOT one phone call was returned. NOR did she leave any direction with anyone else in the office. Take your money and retain a lawyer who actually wants to represent clients. FIRED her asap and hired a great knowledgeable lawyer who actually cares about her profess...AMY KATZ!!

My case was dealt with professionally and with great results. Lawyers are busy and a busy office gets results. Her staff also were busy but took time to talk and answer questions. Kathryn was amazing in Court. Good things came from her hard work.

I'm astonished by some of these reviews!! I have only ever had amazing results with Kathryn and her team since 2012!! Kathryn has always taken the time to ensure my concerns were addressed and handled accordingly. She and her office staff have worked tirelessly and compassionately for my children and I during the worst time in our lives! Never have I felt that any interaction was based on monetary needs. Kathryn has always been more than fair when it comes to billing and each bill has had a breakdown of costs. She is always willing to help, even after my case was settled, I have received any assistance I need. She always took the time to listen to my concerns I had and answered with a fair and honest opinion! I have since moved and still remain in contact with Kathryn and her office even though I am no longer in the area I would recommend, and have done so many times, Kathryn and her team to anyone wanting a fair and honest attorney! She always has her clients best interest at heart.

Terrible! Took my retainer of $3500 plus consult. Unable to make appointments except with her, cancels appointments at the last minute and keeps you on hold waiting in the evening. Does not return calls, unable to talk with Kathryn. Office staff unfriendly, letters written by clerk and not professionals. Sends emails in word perfect and unable to open attachment. Kathyrn states she does phone calls with opposing lawyer, no feedback, no documentation received. Did not send initial documentation to opposing lawyer or myself, 5 months later opposing lawyer is sending another letter. Did not inform date of case conference. Leaves all meeting until the last day to prepare for court. I don't know how her staff can work for her and have any integrity. Unreliable, unprofessional, disorganized, poor communication.

buyer beware- she does not provide billing break downs makes up cost numbers out of her hat stalls your case, yells at you, does not care about the client. She is being sued by several former clients for violating the law. she drags cases out to charge more money. zero respect for people and treats everyone like they are below her status. refuses to follow direction and still has not provided billing requested for months now to prove the costs and where over 30,000 went to for very little work. Chose someone else if you are paying cash and demand your expectations in writing on billing etc. i thought she was ethical at first but her true colours emerged. everyone should be paid but it is reasonable to know the expectations and exact cost break downs. communication is non existent.her prices went from 2000 to 5000 to 15000 for the exact same things within a month. unfair billing and demands she simply wants money for doing very little. the stress she creates for clients is not worth it

Kathryn is a godsend! Her knowledge and excellent people skills are the best I have seen! She fought hard for me, doing extra research and kept me updated on our progress throughout my trial. She took my concerns and imput with great concern and did a fantastic job at reassuring me. I never knew lawyers could be so caring, hard working, HONEST and thoughtful. Kathryn and her staff made my life much easier during an extremely difficult time and I honestly don't think I could have made it out of this sane if it weren't for them. Do not use this woman for any legal matters! Once she has her retainer the only time she will call you is for more money. Basic issues take her months to resolve with excuse after excuse for delays. Her communication skills are horrific and she gets sidetracked constantly. In addition, her office staff are miserable and could care less. Those who gave her a good rating must be the lucky ones....clearly she has a poor track record.

Two words for Kathryn Junger: "LOVE HER!" She is amazing and cares very much for clients. She is sympathetic, understanding and compassionate. She was always ready, willing and able to help me during one of the most stressful times of my life. I could never have made it through my legal battle if it weren't for Kathryn. Kathryn was great for me and for my children. She was understanding, compassionate and sympathetic. She wasn't always available to return my calls and sometimes I would have to call her office more than once to leave messages but there were times when she would call me after hours, even sometimes at 8:00 pm! She went over and above for me and cared so much about the hard decisions I was facing. I not only can call her a fantastic lawyer and legal advocate for me and my children, but I can call her my friend. We keep in touch with each other even though my file is now closed. THANK YOU KATHRYN for all that you did. You are a true blessing to Hamilton.

Awful,it took 3 years and a huge amount of money to get a simple separation order. She does not return calls from clients or legal advocates. Everything was billed at lawyers rate although clerk did write some letters. Court documents not ready in time for court date. Staff dour, unhelpful. Usually only returned calls to ask for more money. Would not communicate in writing even when asked to do so to keep issues clear. Fax turned off after hours and would not provide e-mail address.

I was shocked when I read the other comments about this lawyer. I never encountered any of those problems with her or her office staff. There were times when I would call that Kathryn did not return the call that day however I was able to speak to her assistant who would take the time answer questions. I understand that a lawyer should be in Court and I would be worried if she was sitting in her office everyday. Kathryn is a kind and caring individual. If you want a lawyer you can call on the phone 5 times a day I would not recommend her HOWEVER if you want a lawyer who works hard for you and your rights, is kind, dedicated to your case and is great in Court I would say call Kathryn for sure.

My case was complicated and confusing and I Kathryn took the time to explain my rights to me and fought hard for me in Court. I found her to be honest and understanding. Her staff, although busy were friendly and able to answer my questions. I liked that I was able to speak to a person and did not get voicemail during office hours. I would highly recommend this lawyer.

And when I finally left a message telling her that I was upset with her she phoned me back and told me she was no longer going to represent me in my custody battle. I would never ever ever recommend her.

Takes long at getting things done, always seems to put the reason for the delay back on the client. The only good thing is she is knowledgeable of your rights, but doesn't give you directions as to what the next steps are.Would not recommend her!

Horrific! I have tried to reach her since June - it's now mid-November! My divorce is routine, very amicable - all she had to do was file and it has taken over a YEAR and I am still NOT divorced. I can't believe she is still in business - does not return phone calls, messages, the office staff is miserable and she certainly has done nothing to make me think she knows what she is doing. Whatever you do - run in the other direction. She was recommended to me and I regret not checking this site first! I never do this kind of thing, but she is truly not responsible and probably not ethical either. Find someone else!

Kathryn Junger is one tenacious and knowledgeable lawyer while also being understanding and compassionate. She fought tirelessly on my case and understood how much my case meant to me.
