I was speechless when I read the two other ratings below. My nephew had exactly the same experience. Attorney Zaslow never asked my nephew for the facts in his custody case, never asked him what he wanted, and never validated the lies that were told to him by my nephew's ex-girlfriend. He never got him one minute of visitation, and never even told him in advance when a court date was coming up. The opposing attorney was there with his client in front of the judge. She knew to be there. My nephew was not advised of the court date until a few minutes before it occurred. Needless to say, he could not be there. It made him look like a deadbeat dad or worse-that he did not even care. The fact was that he desperately wanted quality time with his son-but the judge would never know that. Once he got another attorney, he finally got the visitation that he always wanted, but had been denied for the entire first year of his son's life. That was precious time lost that he can never get back.

I agree 100% with the last reviewer. I am also a mother who had zaslow appointed to represent my child. Attu. Zaslow had many closed door sessions with my ex and would not share any of their discussions with me. My ex lied repeatedly to zaslow, who completely bought his story and never questioned me to hear my side of the story. Zaslow prepared a proposed parenting schedule after numerous discussions with my ex, and NONE with me. How can that be in a child's best interests?

He is my son's court appointed attorney and did a lousy job looking out for my son's best interests. He did not do his homework and simply sided with my son's father and disregarded my role as a mother. My son’s father lied about my ability to parent my son and even after I was subjected to a 90 day investigation by the state which proved all allegations to be unsubstantiated, I still had over-nights taken away from me. He was biased and did not do his job. He was also arrogant and pompous. He gladly took my money and didn’t care to listen to input from me nor would he allow a second opinion by an impartial psychologist. My son’s father continues to harass me and threaten me with taking more time away from my son and I. He has caused me to lose sleep-overs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Sunday which ended up costing me shared custody so now, not only do I not get to see my son as much, I have to pay his father child support to boot.
