Kristin did NOT have my best interests in mind during my divorce! I got taken to the cleaners! Even my ex saw how unfair it was and how incompetent Kristin was so my ex threw me a bone. Utterly appalling. I went to a different lawyer after all was said and done and found I could have been MUCH better taken care of elsewhere. I am out literally tens of thousands of dollars--if not 100s--because of Kristin's incompetence. She comes across as really nice and compassionate but she is bleeding you financially and doesn't give a rip about outcomes. RUN AWAY.

Kristin is by far the furthest thing from LAWYER ON YOUR SIDE?? She is so easily persuaded by the opposition. I know she had to open her own practice because no one else would hire her. So much money was wasted, she didn't do anything but e-mail, return phone calls and talk to the other lawyer. I guess that is what clients are paying for??

Kristin was very compassionate and understanding in our first meeting, and I felt she would be a good lawyer and have my best interests at heart. I quickly learned that she lacked tenacity and even at times agreed with the other lawyer, making decisions that seemed to cause intentional delay of my case, adding to my difficulties and financial stress. After months of holding on and hoping that she would be able to turn around the horrible situation I was in, I had to let her go and retain new counsel for fear of losing every thing I had. If you are thinking of retaining Kristin, I would seriously reconsider. Her poor representation will have long lasting impact on my life.

An abysmal experience, a waste of time and money. I needed legal expertise and direction, grounded in the realities and practicalities of family law. I needed someone who could accurately read the other side and take appropriate, timely and decisive action. I believe my case was so badly handled that had I had no representation during those months my situation couldn’t have been any worse. She seemed at a loss as to what to do. I changed lawyers; I should have done it earlier. Had I stayed her client any longer, I believe I would have lost what I held most precious. Still there are repercussions from mistakes she made that have a lasting and significant impact on my life going forward. I do not know whether those mistakes were made because of a lack of family law knowledge, arrogance in her own abilities/opinions, a lack of preparation and knowledge of the specifics of my case, especially when it really mattered and/or an inattention and careless disregard for my concerns. Avoid her.

Terrible experience! She had poor contact with me, I was constantly chasing her to get answers. There was nothing that she did that benefited me, I almost felt as if she were working on the other's side's behalf. I honestly wish I did more research. What a WASTE of money, time and emotion!! Just a terrible experience!
