Mrs. Burns was the GAL for my granddaughter and I cannot say enough positive things. She met with the family on both sides, with my granddaughter a few times, she came to the home, she talked to the counselors (there have been 2), she talked to the teachers at school. She returned phone calls and emails. My granddaughter was in a really bad situation and I am not sure without the Judge, our attorney and this GAL things would have worked out for her. Thank you.

I had a great experience with Jessica. She answered all of my questions and what she said was probably gonna happen did. I get to see my kids a lot and my divorce was done faster than I thought it would be. The main holdup was my wife agreeing to the schedule I wanted. I have already recommended Jessica to my buddy at work. I am thankful for the help.

She was the guardian ad litem for our grand daughter she did an amazing job she did not rush things she took her time reviewed all evidence and really put our grand daughters well being first thanks for all you've done could not have had a better attorney appointed for our grand daughter will recommend this attorney to anyone.

I met with Ms. Burns for a free consultation in Dec 2016 and then hired her to represent me in my divorce. When I hired her she did not tell me that she would be taking off for almost 2 weeks during the Holidays. I called many times to talk to Ms. Burns about my case as I did not think it was moving forward, but was always told she was not available for an appointment. I finally fired Ms. Burns and had another attorney help me and was divorced within a couple of weeks. The best thing about her practice is her Paralegal Lisa. She was always very helpful and apologetic.

She is the gal for my granddaughter she seen my granddaughter for 3 minutes the first time the second 2min 14sec she put my 4 year old granddaughter threw hell the father was paying her and after 2yr 10mo up granddaughter is with people she doesn't even know the father is unfit so she fix it so his parents got she only cares about money not children nor family's if she's ever appointed as a gal for you ask for a different one she rips family apart

She was my child's GAL and she is a one sided GAL, she doesn't do her job which is checking both sides to see better for the child

I was at first hesitant about this GAL due to reviews of her favoriting the birth mother despite "facts". Stuck it out and hoped for a good experience. I cannot say enough about her competency and the level of professionalism! She genuinely cared about the child in question, and clearly focused on the facts. For once I felt like someone HEARD our cry and wasn't just out for a quick paycheck. Would recommend her, 100 percent.

She is absolutely for mothers even when there is so much evidence to show that the father is the best parent. She does not do what is best for the child and that's her job as GAL. If you have a GAL appointed ask for a change before it's too late. I only gave her ones because zeros are not available.

I had an outstanding experience with this Lawyer and referred her to two other friends who both had outstanding results. I doubt the poor reviewers were actual clients. More likely the former spouses of clients. In which case would have a lot of negative things to say. Jessica is an absolute pit bull for her clients.

If this woman is ever appointed as GAL in your custody case, Ask for a different one ASAP!!!!, She DOES NOT have the best interest of the children in mind, and she will keep wanting more more money.for doing nothing, She talks from both side of her mouth, She is rude and is not for the father AT ALL, she will work everything out to benifit the mother, no matter how bad RUN RUN RUN!!! from this Atty.
