Run!!! I am now searching for a new lawyer after having Nicole do nothing on my child support case for 3 years I was better off not even hiring her! All she does is brush you off as a client, claim she’s working on your file, gossip about her personal life and have her daughter that she pretends is her assistant blow off clients calls!! I don’t know how she even has a law degree she’s unethical and unprofessional!

I would not recommend Nicole or her office she proved over and over she could not meet deadlines for filing on time. Would not disclose or send information in a timely manner. Poor cominication skills and her staff are very poorly equipped to help in any situation. Terrible billing practices.

Anytime a lawyer takes a consultation to learn about your case and tells offers advice and suggest to find another lawyer and bills you 300 is a lawyer you run from. Yep she got me for 300 and I was an idiot to pay. The good is I found a positive lawyer and guess what never billed me for the first condition...run fast from any lawyer who squeezes cash

Missing court appearances and being completely unfamiliar with your own client's case is not what you want in a lawyer....I would most certainly PASS on this one!!!!

AWFUL lawyer. SIMPLY terrible. She got her law degree from another country. LSUC should investigate her conduct in court and in front of judges. She does not bill timely and she hit me with a bill over 70k where I lost my case and she has harassed me for the money.

Did not have a good experience with her at my consultation. Not to say she's a bad lawyer but She was not very understanding and compassionate about my situation. We just didn't click so I took my services elsewhere.

Just tried to make an appointment foran urgent matter. all about the money this one, could'nt even bother being polite. wanted a retainer before even speaking and hearing about situation. just nasty.

From the very beginning Nicole was kind, understanding, knowledgeable and passed no judgement. She has got me off 2 legal issues I have had that would have destroyed me. I am soo greatful for her and her office. I most def. woudld recommend her and her team. Thanks Nicole. AM

Nicole Matthews is a caring lawyer. She was very positive, knowledgeable and supportive and knew what to do to help resolve a very trying family matter for us. Nicole tells like it is, she is honest. We are very grateful to have found her. She helped make things happen for us, we highly recommend people to meet and discuss their legal concern with her, surely they should decide to hire her. That is very strange !. I had the same thing happen to me when trying to post reviews on Nicole Matthews review page. I posted a legitimate review based on my experience with her and it was reported as spam/advertising / duplicate / abusive language by the lawyer herself or one of her advocates and they were deleted within couple of days ?. Now I can't submit my honest review about her again because of this endless game ! I found this website listens to lawyers or their advocates more than listening to consumers feedback's regarding any poor work performance from this lawyer . My advise to leave this one read by public or you are working as advocate to !. This lawyer has very week work performance in my opinion even if her advocates deleted all the negative feedback's about Nicole's work in courts for now or in the future !

You must use Nichole mt grammer us not that good so I'll some it up she has always been there for me when she did not have to i lost a family member and she was there for me like friend i know people say trust me and u say dont but she has done wonders for me i can now see my little boy and be a dad because of her from my point of view she is an angel from god!!the best lawyer yet by far thank u Nichole

WELL my experience with Mrs. Matthews was the worst I have ever experienced. I`ll list the negative things she did in my case (which I fired her from & hired a high profile Lawyer) 1: She was RUDE to my Family 2: She told my Family I was going to jail for anywhere between 2 years - 12 years? Uhhh can we pick something more specific Mrs. Matthews. 3: She missed THREE of my court appearances,one of which my Crowne told me to just get a new Lawyer 4: I could NEVER get ahold of her 5: She told my Family I was a drug dealer when in all actuality my charges were dropped & I was found innocent 6: She told investigators who wanted to cut a deal with me for a different case to not contact her anymore SAY WHAT? You`re my LAWYER? Who should they contact then? The list goes ONNN she never did a good job representing me end of story. She is not worth any money, having her would have put me in jail for YEARS, firing her was the best thing for my case. Not even kidding.

Nicole Matthews only does things her way and when her way doesent work she will blame the client. She will tell you whatever you want to here to keep you quiet but will not follow threw with any of it if you tell her you are not happy with her services she will become angry yell at you and tell you to find someone else i used her for my family case and i would never use her again she is rude and obnoxious. I have had alot of lawyers and none of them have treated me this way or have been that hard to deal with she even kept paperwork from me that was sent from the other side. My best advice is stay away Nicole Matthews Does not care about her clients she cares about money!!!

This Lawyer or one of her advocates had removed about eight of the negative feedback's about her work performance in her field of Family Law and from different consumers!. Why don't you just accept the fact that you as a lawyer are not perfect in everything and sometimes you can't do the right job?. If you are not allowing other people negative feedback about your work not about you as a person , you will never improve your week work performance!. I hope this time you or your advocates leave this to be read by the public.

Nicole Matthews is a fantastic lawyer. She took time to explain the process and provided excellent legal advice. I have dealt with other lawyers in the past and Nicole Matthews is by far the best one yet. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. OMG This ladie was wonderful she spent time explaining things to me very very knowledgeable. He staff is so helpful i spoke to all of them with respect and i was treated with respect back i cant thank her enough for her help as well as her staff as far as i am concerned she will be the only Layers to recommend.

I believe this lawyer is unprofessional and not well versed in Ontario law. I also believe she overbills without justification. In my opinion she keeps sloppy records and her secretary thinks she is a lawyer as well and is extremely unprofessional to deal with. I believe this lawyer should be reviewed and stop taking peoples money to provide a service she cannot that is--being an honest lawyer and keeping her word and defending her clients according to their wishes and what the law apparently says their rights are. In my opinion this is a lousy lawyer.
