Rude angry and treats clients like they are servants. Will overcharge and when you protest she bills you for the argument. Lives in her own very little selfish world. When your case is seemingly over (she wasn't even the attorney in my case) she will restart and reword and create appointments to start her gravy train of invoicing all over again.

Ms. Hammerschmid fights for her clients in a difficult arena. The system is challenging and the cases are the same. She is tenacious, thorough, involves the client, and is always honest, sometimes brutally. She cares !!!

Extremely expensive without cause. Results very poor. Does not care about the client. Only fees are important to her. Definitely not worth the money. Stay away From this firm. Made almost fatal error in my case, never admitted error.

Linda is responsible for all billing in her firm, no matter what attorney you use. I used her firms services for over a year and I was financially raped! (Sorry for the strong language, but that is the best way to explain it, I want to warn others). There was other persons names on the invoices who I am very confident never did the work. Overbilling is a problem with Linda Hammerschmid. On a personal level she is a competent attorney, but very irrational, loud, in your face, bordering on rude to her clients. I would never recommend her especially due to the very high rate of billing. I changed attorneys and my legal fees dropped by 50% for the same level of service. I think Linda`s best years are past.

Her office decor says it all. It's all about her. She only fights for the clients who pay her top dollar. The others are tthere just to supplement her lifestyle and of course, she cares little about the outcome of their case!
