My wife and I were together for 12 years before we decided to split up. A tough period but thankfully things went well. We stayed amicable throughout the process. Suzanne was recommended by my wifes cousin. We wanted someone with a lot of experience. We're both happy we came to her. As others have said on this forum she can be tough but she's kind. Wasn't always easy to be in the office everytime because it brought a lot of memories back but she gave us the time we needed to cool down. The only downside i can think of is that she doesn't do night hours so i had to take time from work as I finish at 8 pm. But few lawyers do anyways.

Created high level of unneeded distress for my family and daughters.Took a simple divorce divorce where both parties were amenable and peaceful and made the situation highly volatile for no valid reason. A very poor experience for my family.

In my opinion, Important life changing decisions at divorce are made and dealing with this lawyer was a very bad decision on my part. Her arrogance and non professional demeanor have caused major expense and pain to our family and children. She uses the government paid sessions without any mediation happening and then once those are used up she pitches you a deal on a divorce that she will not allow another lawyer to review it for you before you sign the most important document of your life.A needlessly expensive and painful experience.

During a very painful time in my life, I was recommended Mrs. Gazaille to settle my divorce and more importantly to make sure the right of all parties was respected. She was of a great help to navigate all the complexes legal procedure to swiftly achieved the best outcome for my family. Her expertise in family law and mediation was a great asset when we had discussion with my ex-husband. She makes sure to address all concern quickly and help every step of the way. The fees charged were more than reasonable for the quality of the services that we received.

Years later I can comfortably say that in my opinion and experience has been that she created a scenario around the free mediation sessions (that she collects from the government,) and instead of mediating would create arguments for us.This would use up the hour of mediation until the next one. She demonstrated bias and I felt she was not impartial as you would expect from a mediator. Takes advantage of you at the worst time in your life. Be aware, as I learned the hard way.Our scenario was that she uses up the six sessions paid by the government and explains that she will do the divorce consent document as a cheaper but would not allow her document to be reviewed by another lawyer before signing. (this is the most document you will sign in your life)...that made me lose all confidence and created the basis for a very expensive divorce where there was no animosity prior to her sessions.In my opinion this created a very negative and expensive for both parties,divorce.

Went to Maitre Gazaille after my brother recommended her. My ex wife and I had trouble communicating with each other, so I was afraid to try mediation. But it went well. I don't usually take time to write these types of reviews, but she really was helpful with us. She can seem a bit tough sometimes, but she knows what she's doing. Little unimportant fact: her office is amazing. I'm an architecture fanatic and the house dates from the 1760's, original wooden beams and all. I can't believe the house has been preserved for so long.

Wow, this person is a lawyer? lol My ex-wife chose her because she worked near our house, and the fact she did not want to use the person I chose who was referred to me by a couple of friends. How awful was this women who only cared about "Milking us" for our money! I'm still upset years later how sad this women is. She constantly tried to get us to argue the 3 sessions we had with her. We had on clue what she was doing, it's not like you go through mediation on a regular basis! All she kept telling us is how much it would cost us if we did not settle in the 6 sessions that were free by the government, and the $2100 to get the legal papers to the court house, and it had to come from her! Let's just say that after 2 sessions where she only had our names down, I told my EX what this women was up to. My EX told her in session 3, "Merci bonsoir!" Pathetic how this women is allowed to do this to so many people. If I could have put a bif fat 0 down instead of a 1 I would have! A.M.L

in my experience she was a very poor mediator and drags it out so that she can charge you after you run out of the government paid free sessions. Caused for a long (3 yrs) unecessary divorce with huge costs to both parties because of her inability to mediate a simple divorce. This has cost to both parties and the children. She is arrogant and will smile when required to get you on the hook.Her lack of expertise in mediation was a waste of time and money when you need it most. There are better lawyers on the west island. Do your homework..we did not....

Was recommended to her by a friend. She was very knowledgeable and kind, not at all like other lawyers I met before. Would highly recommend her to anyone going through a divorce.

Our first mediation meeting was still free from the government and she was to the point and helpful. Told us to go home and make decisions before coming back so that we would not waste our money as we were out of free sessions. Returned to her after a couple months and are still in shock at her appalling incompetence. We wanted a similar arrangement as two of of friends had regarding custody and percentage of time spent with each parent. 62% time spent with one parent grants that parent sole benefit of government child support, very important in our case as we have a lot of debt and I, the mother am just re-entering the workforce. She claimed to have never heard of these percentages and seemed to have no comprehension of what we were talking about. She also had nothing to offer in advice. This with a couple who are working well together, can you imagine the fiasco if we were in conflict? We wonder if she meant to drag things along for the money...

Very poor mediation skills unable to hide her bias. Condescending attitude. Does not understand the basic skills of managing a mediation session. Will let the couple get into heated arguements amd not intervene. Eye is on the clock not the couple. Was not forth coming regarding billing. Would not recommend her. Waste of money but more so waste of time when you are most vulnerable.

I came to Me Gazaille with absolutely no knowledge regardings to the law. I had recently seperated from a very difficult mariage, and found myself alone, scared of what was to come. I was recommended to her from a friend who saw her in mediation. She helped me all the way. From where to start till the very end of the process. I always thought lawyers were cold and heartless but she was warm, welcoming and resourcefull.

Was very dissapointed with her mediation services which I personally felt were not very professional and demonstrated bias. Was not very professional in providing documents,invoices when requested. Was not pleased at all with her services.
