Peter negotiated a much better settlement for my wrongful dismissal. He also had my former employer write me a positive reference letter which helped me get a new job. Thanks Peter!

Peter represented me in a wrongful termination. He was professional, empathetic and very knowledgeable. It had a great outcome. I would recommend him to all my friends. There are lots of negative reviews, but it's important to remember that not every case is a winner, and working with a lawyer come with work to do yourself. It's not a magical cheque writing service.

I paid my retainer and bills in full. Peter McSherry demanded three thousand dollars. Then, he refused to represent me at the OLRB (Ontario Labour Relations Board) meeting. I was diagnosed with PTSD and submitted medical documents to him. I had to ask a Sexual Assault Counsellor to attend the OLRB hearing with me. McSherry reassured me, I had a good chance of being reinstated to my job by the employer and union. Two weeks later he told me, I don't have a good chance of being reinstated to my job, he is friends with the corporate respondent's lawyer and went to law school with this man. This exacerbated my PTSD. I was sexually assaulted and bullied for three years at my former workplace. I have plus-ten years experience as a Skilled Tradeswoman. I am now a Canada Pension Plan Recipient and unemployed. Many of my co-workers, female and male, experienced the same workplace sexual violence as me from that employer. I do not recommend Peter McSherry; he does not respect women.

He has weak law knowledge. He gives incorrect information. He is not professional. I am unemployed and when I go to the grocery store I try to save 10 cents, then he charged me 282 dollars, and then nothing. He should make money from the employer. If lawyers community let him stay as a lawyer, I will never go to a lawyer again.

We went to this lawyer for a consultation. We were asked to supply information about the case first, then, if he could help, his office would call and set up an appointment. They called, we went, he had NOTHING to tell us that could help!! AT ALL!! It was the fastest money grab we had ever seen!! $300 for 10 minutes of nothing!!!WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

My husband had 2 weeks to submit paperwork once he was let go from his job. McSherry promised to help and send a letter to the company asking for more severance, as the termination was unfair. McSherry missed the deadline to respond. my husband followed up 3 times, McSherry still has not replied back. The company then threatened to cut off all payments and benefits, as my husband, if course had not signed their agreement - waiting for McSherry to send the letter. I understand that he has other issues and clients to attend do, however, a simple letter - likely a standard letter sent a hundred times before, would have made a huge difference for us. I would not recommend using McSherry.

Was not impressed. Found him rude and misleading. Waste of money for consultation.
