I hired Martin McManus to represent me in a domestic violence case. He took my money but did not represent me. Mr. McManus wanted me to plead to something I did not do and got upset with me when I didn't take the deal. My trial started on a Friday morning; he asked the jurors no questions during the jury selection and it was obvious he just wanted to get the trial over with. I had several witnesses prepared to testify on my behalf but, by the time Mr. McManus presented my case, it was late in the day and he did not call any of the witnesses. Later, I discovered that his wife and my wife worked together, a definite conflict of interest. I was found guilty of a misdemeanor, which I feel would not have happened if my attorney had done his job.

Did absolutely nothing..we gave him his entire case, he did not even call 1 witness in our defense...sent them all home. Terrible attorney, should not be practicing! Even judge was disappointed.
