I would not recommend Yolanta Lewis to anybody.I agree with previous writers that she's not a fighter and clearly favours the boy's team. Yolanta was referred to me by our mediator - her role was to review the separation agreement that had been worked out in the mediation sessions to ensure that my best interests were taken care of.I never really felt when I was with her that she was fighting for me, it was more like...it's not so bad, just sign and move on. And she was even careless enough to give me an "unsealed" copy. I had to return to get a properly sealed, original copy of the document. That was 2014. My best interests were not entirely represented, and the separation agreement clearly benefited my ex. I am currently in legal proceedings with another lawyer in an attempt to correct the oversights made by Yolanta Lewis.I put my trust in this lawyer to ensure that I would not be taken advantage of by my ex But came away from the experience feeling taken advantage of by them both

I had this lawyer back in 2006...she left to go to japan for a month and never said a word to me...seems to care, very gentle, the truth is - "lights on nobody home" monthly billing is on time - always wants you to give in to your ex-husbands demands so it will make her job easy ---> should retire

Get this lawyer if you want an "in" in the Hamilton Family court. She has gone to Tunisia for a lengthy "conference tour.." with Justice Mary Jo Mclaren and was scheduled to go to Japan March 31, 2011 with Justice Mclaren as well! She has a "friendship" with Justice Mclaren who sits at the Hamilton Family court and conducts Trials with Yolanta as counsel. Oh did I mention that she also has the inside scoop with clinical investigators doing OCL reports, namely Karen Armstrong who just so happens to have worked with Yolanta in the past at the Catholic Children's Aid society. A great lawyer to have if you really want to take short cuts.

At first seemed very interrested in my case. When push came to shove she caves in to the man. Does not represent the womens best interest. Listens then does nothing. Lights on but nobody home. Will hang you out to dry...in her nice, gentle way. Her monthly billing is on time.
