Mr Ellert was highly recommended to me. Regarded as one of the outstanding sot after family lawyers in Calgary. I needed a lawyer with specific knowledge of family law, and how to protect my children. He took my case, fighting long and hard. Mr ellert was always very professional and direct even when I really didn’t want to hear some of the answers he was honest and empathetic. Mr. Ellert was not always able to take my calls when I felt it was urgent and needed answers immediately. He did, however return my calls in a timely fashion. His office staff were amazing. It was a long drawn out Trial. Mr. Ellert delivered my case with quick wit, recalling of specific dates and times and events by memory, factual, reports, etc. I would highly recommend Mr. Ellert if you need a really good family lawyer behind you.

Like many others have reported, he avoids phone calls, charges ridiculous amounts for no work done. When you call him, or send him an email to ask why he has not done the filings and work that you have paid him for, he then charges you additional fees. I cannot see how he can be so dishonest. Horrible person to deal with

I reported Dale to the law society for failure to respond to my numerous attempts to contact him. His billing bordered on ludicrous. Talks a good game. does not do the work. Needs to retire. Ugly suits.

Dale Ellert is a LIAR. He commited PERJURY to the Calgary provincial court, after I FIRED HIM. In retaliation for being fired, he didnt inform me of a crucial court date, and lied to the judge that he had informed me (the PERJURY), then told judge was removing himself as my lawyer (quoted in transcripts of hearing). Dale Ellert is literally a CRIMINAL! His receptionist Lynn, is also a liar, repeatedly told me he'd returned my calls/messages, which were each a lie. Many times he never returned calls, failed to file as per my specific instructions, including over charges unexplained, and why he was fired! I've since seen other people post online how Dale Ellert LIED to them about returning calls also. Dale Ellert is a criminal, and my complaints (and others) have gone ignored by the so-called Law society, because he is "trusted member" with them (I was told by law society rep). Dale Ellert should been charged long ago by the Crown for his failures of multiple clients, and imprisoned.

I am amazed that Dale is still able to practice law. After countless emails, and messages he forgot to prepare/file an affidavit which cost me 20k+. Even after that blunder he missed the Appeals deadline even after countless reminders. Finally he was fired and is currently being investigated by the law society for refusing to pay me my funds from his trust account.

Inept & arrogant man, this Dale Ellert is a liar and avoided direct contact for months, hiding behind his receptionist who kept saying "HW hasn't called you back yet?" Later discovered he hadn't filed critical papers to the court, even failed to notify me of a scheduled court date. Avoid this Criminal & Liar, a disgrace to anyone who is supposed to represent justice. Criminal behavior, Arrogant disregard, Disgusting human being.

Dale is a senior lawyer who helped my case a lot. He is very committed to his clients. His staff are very helpful and friendly. I had a very difficult divorce and he got me what I deserved after a lot of hard work on his part.

Mr. Ellert handled my very complicated case with expertise. He was my second lawyer and made sure that I got the settlement I was entitled to. I would highly recommend him if you need a lawyer to deal with difficult financial matters and challenging spouse's lawyers. I was very happy with the outcome.

Dale does not return calls and has his assistant make excuses for him. Not worth the $550./hr he charges. At that rate he should be rich and own a much bigger office for someone who is as busy as his assistant claims he is.

This man literally saved my life. He is intense and strong and fought for me like on one on earth before this. This man changed my life. Made sureI got the $ I wwas owed. I love his staff. Brianna and Kelly ( who sends the bills) thank god for this team.

Avoid this guy! All talk and no action! With the exception of huge bills he is an embarrassment in the courtroom. He actually made my divorce move backwards!

Very bad lawyer. Over charged. Was taken to taxed on the account of fees. Claims to be the best but only in over charged fees. Was unable to get what you want in court. Claims that he can get you what you want stating " he is the bigest ass---- out there working for you. Very disapointed with his services.
