If there was a zero scoring possibility, I would have scored him with zeros, because that is what my case received. A fat " retainer" up front, then nothing. No calls, no emails, he never showed up for any hearings, only reason I still have a case is that I showed up when he didn't. Now I have to hire another attyn. to undo his total incompitance. I filed a complaint with the Florida Bar Asso. and they said that " there is insufficient evidence, from the materials provided, that Mr. Rodiguez has violated any of the rules adopted by the Supreme Court of Florida which gover attorney discipline". AND that " while Mr. Rodriguez's communication and representation did not meet my expectations, it was within the guidelines of ethical conduct". So he never violated anything by not showing up, and that was ethical conduct? Who are we kidding? The Florida Bar has decided that one of the worst attorneys in the whole state's conduct is just fine. I assume now I will be sued for libel, FINE!!

He absolutely blew my case. Incompetence dragged it on for years until he financially ruined me. Was never prepared for court-if he even bothered to show up-didn't do anything I'd hired him to do-had ME do most of the work- ignored phone calls and my requests/ demands for action.His staff if either overburdened or non-existent. They'd lie about his whereabouts and activities,forget to file paperwork, or simply don't do it at all. Rodriguez missed deadlines & key hearings then blew off my concerns and anger at his incompetence. He AND HIS WIFE got very belligerant with me because I insisted he do the job I'd hired him for. I paid for many,many subpeonas for witnesses who never got to appear and testify due to Mark allowing opposing counsel to pull so many "fast ones,"many were illegal & without due process. He pushed me to hire expensive expert witnesses (THOUSANDS of dollars)then never spoke with,met with them or strategized with EVER. He ruined my kids' and my life.... for NOTHING!

Mark is the worst Lawyer I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. He is/was NEVER available, he always has an excuse of this case or that case is taking up all his time. He let our case sit so long they closed the case, and we only found out because I did their job and looked it up on the computer. What kind of Attorney takes on so many cases he can not find the time to call back the clients he has had the longest. His Office staff is a joke and they all blame each other. None of them including his wife who thinks she knows it all does anything for their clients, their only goal is to get more clients that they will not be able to take care of to pay off the big house in KINGS BAY!!!! They are money hungry and once fed they forget you exist! Steer clear unless you wanna get screwed worse than the screw you got to hire them. Mark is the reason there are Lawyer jokes to begin with!!

He tanked my case completely. He was never prepared for court. He ignored procedural and due process, and was chastised more than once by judge in court.He doesn't return calls, misses deadlines, allows opposing counsel to get away with back-handed ex-parte activities. He lies directly to your face and thinks nothing of screaming threats and tries to bully and coerce clients into signing off on detrimental paperwork.His personal life overshadows his professional responsibilities. I know tgings about him that I shouldn't know due to his outright telling me or talking on his phone during our appointments.There's PLENTY more, but this is upsetting me too much to continue....
