Courtney is amazing. She helped me with a medical board issue. She is very well versed in this area and handled my matter quickly and with best possible outcome. She was always available to speak with me even if on weekend or in the evening. Her fee was very reasonable in comparison to the firm I had before finding Courtney. They billed for everything, Courtney was very fair in her billing. She's the best.

I hired this firm and had to switch to another firm as the quality of the work they performed was terrible. I've never given any professional I've hired a negative review but working with Cortney was a waste of time and money. Be careful!

Without question, the best money I have ever spent. Saved my medical practice without any collateral consequences (ie insurance, medical board website, etc). After I was contacted by the CMB investigator, I panicked, searched for qualified attorneys and was referred to Pilchman and Kay. I was so impressed, I fired my criminal attorney and hired them to represent me in my criminal case (case dismissed) and represent me with the California medical board case (no charges filed). It was nice to have 2 lawyers with on both cases. I also needed to hire an expert which they were able to hire one of the best and also negotiated the expert fee to something reasonable. My deepest gratitude ladies.

I am an Orange County Plastic Surgeon. In the Spring of 2010, I contacted Courtney Pilchman of Pilchman & Kay via a referral from a colleague. Immediately after meeting Ms Pilchman, I hired Pilchman & Kay due to their reputation & level of comfort. Prior to hiring Pilchman & Kay, I interviewed 3 other firms and by far felt most comfortable with Ms Pilchman. I must say, Courtney surely knows her stuff in regards to the California Medical Board and other medical legal matters. All along the way, Ms Pilchman kept in close contact with detailed updates on my case.In the end we prevailed and I couldn’t be happier. Hiring Pilchman & Kay to represent me has been the best financial decision of my professional career. I owe my practice and livelihood to PK and more importantly, Courtney Pilchman. If you're a medical professional and you're faced with any legal issues do yourself a favor and contact Courtney Pilchman. This recommendation is the least I can do for them.

I highly recommend this law firm. They are well versed in criminal law and CMB sanctions. I had my multiple felony count case dismissed entirely and never had to report to the CMB.

As a Doctor, I almost signed a stipulated settlement with the State Medical Board that would have ruined me professionally. My clinic was inspected and I had several common violations including a drug log that was not up to date, an autoclave that was not in the proper area and other violations such as office hours not posted properly. The board had made a case against me that was both groundless and mostly false yet Pilchman & Kay did little to disprove these accusations. I read the final stipulation that Pilchman "won" for me and I just couldn't sign it. THANK GOD I contacted another attorney after speaking with our local medical association. Pilchman and Kay may very well be competent at criminal defense and DUI however I would absolutely never recommend this company to stand up for a doctor's rights in front of a medical board. "Medical License Defense" should be removed from their website...
