I was charged with a domestic violence in Orange County and I hired Max Gorby as my lawyer. I was not guilty of a felony but that's what they accused me of doing. I just had my case closed last week with plead guilty to a misdemeanor of child abuse plus probation, fine, community labor classes.... I should have requested a public defender to represent me instead of Max Gorby. I couldn't imagine anyone would come up with a worse outcome than he did. He only behaved professionally in the first time meeting of free consultation in which he convinced me that he would fight hard for me and win the case with big confidence. Once the contract was signed and attorney fee was paid, things immediately changed. He didn't spend time studying my case. He was two hours late and totally unprepared when we went to the court for the first time. He didn't remember any details of my case that we had been discussing in past two months. My side story was not heard by the DA until 3.5 months after the case was filed and it was per my strong push again and again. I got in a fight with my boyfriend and he called the cops on me. They arrested me for domestic violence. I was so scared I thought I was going to get deported. It wasn't fair, it wasn't even that big of a fight. I found Max online and went to his office. He went to court with me, and saved me from getting deported I didn't even have to be on probation or take classes. If you want a lawyer who goes to court with you and cares about you I suggest him. I hope I never need a lawyer ever again but if I ever did I would go to him again.

My friend and me are really very thank full to him and his assistant. They did an excellent job. We were very little confident about what would happen in our case, in later hearings the judge was very rigid as it was $1100 shop lifting case and the judge and the prosecutor considered it as moral turpitude crime. It would effect our immigration status and we would have got deported and it got complicated but ultimately some miracle happened and they excused us with a trespassing and fine. At that moment my friend and me felt we got an other chance to lead a good life. Trespassing on our records will not be a problem to our immigration status. To be true, it was just a miracle that prosecutor and judge got convinced for the charge that Attorney Max has proposed. We are really thank full to him and really proud of our decision to have Max Gorby as our attorney. Thanks to Max and Nicole(his assistant). Thank you so much. This really means a lott to us.

Mr.Gorby if you read this THANK YOU!!! We had a Halloween party at my house that started off amazing. I had only a couple drinks and a friend of mine was wasted and decided to drive to the store to get more vodka (we had more beer) I went after her to stop her cuz she was so drunk she could barely walk. Guess who gets pulled over by the cops?? Not her! I got pulled over for drunk driving and treated like**** by the cops. I got arrested for (ready for it) 1. Uninsured driver, I had insurance but couldn't find my card. 2. Drunk in public which I wasn't at all 3. Driving under the influence they impounded my car and ruined my Halloween. A friend of mine had used Mr.Gorby before and recommended him. He got me off of the insurance **** since the officers didnt allow me to check in my car for it myself and was able to provethey did a faulty breathalyzer test. I got off on all the charges thank god and thanks to Mr.Gorby all I had to pay was his fees and $276 for impound fees.

I was reffered to Max Gorby though a former client of his. He suggested I use him to represent me for a DUI I had received. After meeting with him at his office I felt confident in using him. Thankfully I did, he was able to get the charge substantialy reduced and saved me alot of hassle. I highly suggeste using him.

I read the above review and was shocked! I had a completely different experience with attorney Max B. Gorby. Mr. Gorby has allowed me to continue going to law school. I was in long beach with my girlfriend in a hotel room. We both got really drunk and started arguing. She threw a lamp at me, and I defended myself. Yeah she had a small cut on her elbow that was bleeding after she fell to the ground. She did not even call the police and never wanted me arrested. But another hotel guest heard all the fighting and called the cops. When they saw the blood on her, they did not even hear my side of the story. Max convinced the prosecutor that I was defending myself! If I was convicted of domestic violence, I would never have been allowed to finish law school. Thank God Max fought for me!

Max B Gorby was referred by a bail bondsman (State Bar violation) He took a "non refundable" fee of $4000.00 but did not legal work (State Bar violation) No charges were ever brought, against me, no legal work required or done, though Max Gorby kept the fee (another State Bar violation) This is a very very lousy attorney, who shows up late and unshaven to court, tells off color jokes, and will sell you down the river just to be done quickly. I was innocent, but even if you are not, please do not trust your outcome to this guy, who was too lazy to even make phone calls on my behalf, even when my career was threatened by false charges....!
