Hired her for separation and divorce. Biggest observation was not very tenacious: "well, that's the way rulings are going these days" and being diplomatic versus really forcing appropriate issues. Sometimes a tentative feeling from her. I did also feel I had to stay on her to get things moving along, however, since this process ended and I've been dealing with my ex's lawyer directly, I see others are the same. Decent lady, just would have been nice for her to be more forceful a bit.

Unprofessional. Bad judgement. Drags things on. Has difficulty understanding the facts. Will lie and delay for you though. Brutal for families. Kids suffer.

Just another Family law lawyer that will do anything to drag someone through the system. My ex-wife hired her, and she was perfect opposition. Entitled, presumptuous, egotistical and not very intuitive. She was a total joke in court, assuming that the man should fold. Judge ruled against everything "they" asked for and if he could, would have done an eye roll.

Made an appointment to consult with Sheila for 9:30. As I was parking my car, got a call at 9:26 saying she cant make it until 10. Thats simply not professional. Why do lawyers think their time is more valuable compare to rest of the public. If you are going to charge ton of money at least show up on time

Ms. Bruce did an awesome job for me during my separation and divorce, plus she represented me successfully when my ex-husband attempted to reduce his monthly spousal payments. She's very knowledgeable and I never had a problem with communication or contact. I can't say enough good things about her. I would definitely hire her again if necessary.

I found Sheila to be a professional attorney who followed up and was very knowledgeable. My sister has used her as well and can also, not say enough good things about her. I would recommend her to anyone

I agree with the previous two posters. I don't know who wrote the positive reviews. Sheila has poor attention to detail, lacks knowledge and has a limited understanding of basic law. Not good value.

My Grandsons have had this Lawyer foralmost two years and theyve Just seen her once and they were told they d have a date by Sept and still Nothing and My elsest grandson has been call ing her on a reg basis and No returned calls soo i told him to call everyday till he get to talk to her and keep leaving messages too. Two boys here are getting to be quiet disappointed in this law system

Sheila Bruce is an awesome lawyer. I was totally satisfied with the work she did on my behalf. I have used her for my separation, divorce, and also for an amendment to the contracts. Each and every time, she procured the best result for me. I highly recommend her!

Sheila Bruce was highly recommended. She is competent, experienced, sensible and impressive. Always prepared for court. Responded back to me in a timely manner. Definitely felt comfortable as her client and most importantly that I was being heard. Sheila’s tenacity and attentive approach to my needs with keeping in mind my children’s best interest, gave me confidence in her management of my matter. This was an extremely stressful time for me and my children. Sheila displayed complete understanding of that and throughout, was very considerate. She exceeded my expectations.
