I will Never, Never, Never hire this attorney Ever again!!! He did not represent me well at all!!! I wish that I could go into more details of what he allowed the other party Insurance, and their attorney do to me, but in fear of being sued, I can't, unfortunately. I tried to hire another attorney when I realized what he was about, but becaused he had a lein in the contract I signed, no other attorney would take my case. I wish I have known about this website b4 I hired him. I wouldn't have hired him. P.S. I agree "totally", with one of the previous post saying that he has the cleint do all the work. You live and you learn.

He does nothing but let you do all the work then sents it to him, He does nothing at all but sit and wait on his money to come in . He doesnt even try .

Outstanding job. I terminated a prior lawyer for not returning my calls. Mr. Widener either answered the phone when I called or called me back quickly, and we ended up getting a great settlement. I will definitely refer people I know to him.

JAMES WIDENER IS A VERY INEXPERIENCE ATTORNEY WHO LACKS PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT ONE WOULD EXPECT FROM A LAW FIRM. BEFORE HE WAS HIRED, I WAS VERY THROUGH IN EXPRESSING MY CASE, MY NEEDS, AND EXPECTATIONS.WE BOTH AGREED THAT I HAD KEPT VERY ORGANIZED RECORDS AND HAD HANDLED MY CASE VERY WELL, ALONE. I WAS ALREADY RECIEVING THE MAXIMUM BENEFITS ALLOWED, I WAS ATTENDING APPOINTMENTS,AND WAS COMPLYING WITH WORKERS COMP.RULES. HOWEVER, I NEEDED A AGRESSIVE ATTORNEY THAT KNEW THE LAW AND WORKED TO PROTECT THE CLIENT AND NOT THE COMPANY. SOON AFTER MR. WIDENER RECEIVED THE SIGNED CONTRACT FROM ME HE DECIDED THAT WE DID NOT NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING. YET,I HAD NEVER SAW THE PANEL OF DOCTORS LIST, NOR HAD EVER BEEN GIVEN A CHOICE. I DEMANDED THAT MY ATTORNEY REQUEST A CHANGE OF DOCTORS AND FINALLY HE DID. IN TURN THAT DOCTOR ORDERED A SERIES OF TESTS, PAIN MANGEMENT, AND SURGERY. I HAD TO TERMINATE THIS ATTORNEY, HE JUST STOPPED RETURNING CALLS AND MY HEARING WAS IN 2 DAYS. RUN
