Hired Alan to represent me in 2003, never did anything, said he had made a claim with didn’t. Would never return calls and file was missing when requested. Complaint on file with law society. Stated lawyer was reprimanded with no explanation of discipline to complainant. Sad, sad this happened to others... beware and record all conversation and no deposit so he works first. Hire weaver Simmons, guarantee of service as they are supervised as apposed to a one man show. Thanks

Not happy when he represented me in an personal injury case years ago. Took five yrs to get settlement. Represented myself on stand to build case. Not impressed with outcome.

Had him hired for a small claims court. Was hardly prepared we had to write a chronology of events for him which he used in court. Was not solved in our favour although he made it sound like this was an easy case since we were obviously in the right. Charges us an arm and a leg ...the bill piled up with assistance hours. He was impossible to reach. not by phone, nor email. Very frustrating

Terrible firm. It is run mainly by his legal secretary who is rude and arrogant. Showed up for court unprepared, that is when he decided to show up at all. On top of all of it my bill grew at the time of termination with no explanation. Did absolutely nothing for me other than talk about curling. Not a bad person, but for a lawyer very poor. Would make all kinds of promises about outcomes only to loose and answer with, "that's the law." A really frustrating experience.
