Do your homework before you see him and he will work with you for a fair outcome. Yes, he understands what the Crown has to do, that is actually an advantage. He is cold and somewhat impersonable but that, in my opinion, is what you should want from a lawyer. "All we need are the facts ma'am" (Joe Friday)

Andrew is very hardworking, honest and forthright. Do not think for one second he is corrupt, he is the total opposite. He stands by his clients , offers them sound, well researched advice, he's very professional and is amazing in court.

Andrew Barbacki is the most corrupt unethical clown attorney. He used to be crown attorney and make friends in the clown office criminal. All he does is make deals with the crown attorney and get favourable sentence for his clients for $ 25,000 retainer. NEVER hire him.

Andrew is the worst ever lawyer to meet. He used to be a former crown attorney / prosector and will always favour the crown. He will blame the clients for the issues and will try to cut deals with the crown. Please never hire this lawyer. He is useless. He will never defend the basic citzens rights in the Charter of Rights and Freedom. HE will never fight the crown to get a disclosure documents. Instead he will force and intimidate the clients to plead guilty and ask for reduced sentence. He is very unethical in his dealings. Once, he gets the money / retainer , then he is totally different person and the client is at his mercy to recover the money. Dealing with him is all about extortion. Never hire this lawyer.

Barbacki is very knowledgeable. Does not tell you what you want to hear, but rather lays out all the facts and info and examines every option available within the law. He is somewhat intimidating and a bit cold. In the end though he communicates best via e-mail, won my case and has a strong reputation. Overall, pricey, efficient, no very warm, but very work oriented. I'd hire him again
