I went to this layer to get help to get my Late younger brother who passed in Kingston and get the body released from the morgue in KHG because of his ex separated wife giving problems from Peterborough, and she knew my family were in depressed, sad and desperate to give a final funeral services for my late brother, We trusted & gave her quite a sum of money and thought she will help us soon and try to come up with some solution quick, but instead she wasted 4 weeks of our time and wrote 2 letters and took a trip to peterborough charged us 6 hours more and for every little work. Finally, i felt uneasy with her work so i told her i am cancelling my retainer agmt on the 4th week and when i came to pick up my check and files next day, i was shocked to see more then 3 GRAND was gone for not much work. We wanted to use most of that money for funeral services, BUT WE WERE CHEATED AND MONEY WAS USED UP IN VAIN AND NOT MUCH WORK AND NO OUTCOME AND MY BROTHER STILL IN THE MORGUE AT KHG, SAD

Ms. French did not take my concerns on my daughters father seriously or shrugged it off. I felt as though she was easy to submit to a lawyer with a higher reputation. I felt as though Ms. French was very condescending towards me and did not give me good advice at all. I quickly switched to another lawyer who is handling my case much more intelligently.

Liz just like too many lawyers act like its acceptable for the only Court in Canada not to be held accountable for lying. Criminal court isn't a return investment but mixed up children, parents and 50/50 narrative is in the best interests regardless of a and f parents. The conflict is the courts that right these child studies and the wasted conferences that are passive income for the mercedes not a parent or child. Bring a recorder to everything it is your right 136 (b) to hear in court and the narrative that is forcefully imposed. Truth always comes through just like the Judges pushed in with political ties. Science with children disprove every lie they push. Swear on the book and act like your not responsible needless to say why they won't be enlightened ever

I chose this lawyer based upon what I read online. She wasted my money and my Daughter's time. She was rude to me and did not work promptly to ensure my Daughter's needs were met. I chose to not have her represent myself and child after she was condescending and rude to me. She wasted precious weeks of my Daughter's life when she needed to be with me the most. Within 2 weeks of not having Elizabeth French represent me, I had my Daughter in my care full time and had full custody and still do to this day, 2 years later. I feel she took advantage of me not knowing the legal system, she knew each call to her would cost me money and she prolonged my time with her to take my money and not resulting in moving any farther with my case.

Although I haven't retained Liz as of yet for my lawyer,she was my savior as duty counsel.Because of legal aid revoking my certificate,I was left with no lawyer or help as I prepared for trial.Liz went over and above helping me as duty counsel and then out of the goodness of her heart she came into court the next to help me in front of the judge.This was an important issue that I truly feel I could not have gotten the Judge to understand and grant me what I had asked for without Liz French's help. I WAS SO LUCKY TO HAVE PASSED PATHS WITH LIZ AND I AM TRULY SO THANKFUL FOR HER HELP!

Cancelled out on several meetings while outside in waiting room (from out of town), overbilled, did not represent my sons best interest, was condescending and prolonged services rendered. Money driven - not focused. Would not advise when retainer was getting low - simply would nit return calls.
