I had a case with Mr. Hobson and found him uncompromising and difficult to talk with. He made the case more difficult and more expensive than need be.

Hobson was opposing attorney in my case he made so many delays and outrageous requests just to build his fees & costs up,not complaining the ex. had to pay everything. In my opinion he is on a mission to line his pockets and do very little to help his client.

I am so grateful for Mr. Hobson. He's been completely supportive, responsive and makes sure I have a clear understanding of the law with regards to my case, applicable case law if I am interested in knowing, and works to be early for all deadlines. Mr. Hobson is very professional and sticks to the law. His ethics are impeccable. In reading the first review on Mr. Hobson here, that sounds nothing like the David Hobson that has represented me.

I seriously question Mr. Hobson's knowledge of divorce law in Oregon. My mom's husband was not served divorce papers for three weeks after she signed them. My mom's husband and his daughter closed their joint checking account AFTER my mom's husband had been served the divorce papers. Mr. Hobson took no action and did not advise us that this is illegal. Mr. Hobson rarely contacted my mom to tell her how things were progressing. Rather than doing it himself, he asked my mom's granddaughter to contact my mom's husband's daughter (the other side). Mr. Hobson's advice was, at times, very inconsistent. Prior to going to court, he told us that we should expect to receive about $19,000 from my mom's husband for her medical needs. Next, he said we probably would receive no money for her care. She got about $9,500. We made suggestions to Mr. Hobson, which, as it turned out, were not within the law. We know very little about law. Rather than give advice, he dropped my mom as a client.
