He did a great job representing me in a lawsuit that took almost 3 years. When the case was over the results were better than expected. He worked very hard on my case and I have already referred him to a friend.

Chris Martone is unprofessional, irresponsible and a professional criminal who stole thousands of dollars from me in excess of $7,000.
He should be disbarred from practicing law.
Hope you read this review before you retain him but if you don't see this before you can file a complaint with the NJ Attorney Ethics Committee against him and eventually he will lose his license.
Christopher Martone has apparently read this review and is attempting to intimidate and bully me by emailing me after 8pm at night, because he is an attorney that believes they can do whatever they want. Mr. Martone is trying to silence my opinion and Freedom of Speech that is constitutionally protected!
I personally had over $7,000 taken by Mr. Martone and he refused to email me as he didn't want to memorialize his conversation. Chris failed to send me important documents from the court and lied about dates and outcomes of his cases.

Delayed process for my closing because was slow to respond. My lender, seller's lawyer and agents all expressed how difficult he was to work with. After inspection I emailed negotiation strategy to him and he forwarded it directly to seller's attorney. Email responses were returned faster than phone calls but were usually vague. I sent an email with 5 distinct questions and would get back an email that may answer 1 of the questions. He never seemed to know the details of my situation when I did speak with him. And the final straw was increasing his fee by $200 and acting as if it had been discussed. I was almost ready to walk away from my home....

Used this lawyer for a closing, he was horrible. He also gave us his cell phone initially and said call at any time but doesn't answer after getting the business. Communicating with him is a nightmare. He doesn't read, doesn't answer questions, and offers no guidance through the process.

Worst lawyer! Will come off at first as very friendly and give his cell phone #. He says "call or text me any time". Chris NEVER responds to calls, texts, or emails. I would not refer him to my worst enemy! STAY AWAY!

The worst follow up and follow thru- had to ask several times for every document needed, Do not use him!!!
