As I separated from my wife in May 2019 I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Bill Clark. He was very thorough With his examination and the importance of knowing all the facts. Many things of which I had felt were not important, to the contrary, were important. On occasion, there was a few cases of miscommunication. At no fault of either of us. Things did get clarified. As my ex-wife utilized two lawyers , this made it a bit more of a challenge as well. Even though we both felt I had a very strong case, and would likely be successful in a trial, it was made clear to myself, that on any given day, you can never know for sure what a judge may rule. Not to mention the highly discriminatory laws against men that we were facing. Based on these facts, we chose to go the route of mediation. When I needed Bill to be his best, he was! My experiences of Mr. Clarke, both in 2012 and 2020, are that his knowledge of the law, his years of experience, and his overall effectiveness have resulted in consistent successes. Bill has been looking after me for 10.5 years and I cannot thank them enough for the incredible work. I felt like I had been put in good hands right away and every day after. He was very patient with me & welcomed my support people into his office with me. I am writing this on behalf of my mom and I. we have been through hell and back with her divorce from my dad. If you can manage to get representation by Bill et al., do so, right now. Mr. Clarke has been representing me on Child Custody and support matters for the past 6 years. His knowledge of Family Law, organization and preparedness is phenomenal. Recently my case was sent to trial and I was feeling very anxious about having to sit on the witness stand. It is something I had never done and I am somewhat of a shy and quiet person. Bill called the day before to reassure me that he was confident in my case and not to stress. He was right, everything went exactly how he said it would and we were victorious. I highly recommend Mr. Clarke as your family Law Attorney. I hired Mr. Clarke for my daughter and I to relocate to Vancouver and everything that goes along with it, and he did an exceptional job. In a difficult situation and having to deal with a very difficult ex husband, Mr. Clarke made this a reality for us in only 4 months!! For the first time in my life i finally have child support ordered and so much more. Bill worked very hard for us. I was very pleased. He was well worth the money for us. Mr. Clarke represented me for about 1 1/2 years. He has a high opinion of himself that I did not see reflected in his legal representation of me. Within that period of time Mr. Clarke did not respond to communications from opposing counsel for a 2 month period that caused me to lose my housing, did not file an Amended Counterclaim for 11 months which resulted in the court not allowing it as it was filed after a court date was set, and ultimately then chose to step down from representing me after major damage was done to my legal matter. He did not take any responsibility for the damage he caused me. I have reported Mr Clarke to both Legalshield and The Law Society of B.C. for his incompetency in my legal matter.

Mr. Clarke listened to me describe my situation and intentions. He clearly laid out my rights, options and possible outcomes good/simple and bad/challenging. Mr. Clarke was up front and honest with me about the legal fees presenting the average cost if things go smoothly and conversely the average cost if things get ugly. This might sound like an over-zealous rating but frankly I'm thrilled with the quality of Mr. Clarke's work. He gave me an honest assessment of me immediately and while it was painful to hear, it reflected the way I was likely to be perceived in court. He gave me worst-case scenarios in terms of costs and length of proceedings; on both the result was that he came in way under budget. I appreciate his brutal honesty, and I have to say that he scares the bageezus out of me.... which, I believe, is the only kind of person that should me defending me! I respect him a great deal and admire his skill and superior intelligence; I would trust him with absolutely anything that could ever possibly arise where I might need legal respresentation!
