During our consultation, she told me my ex gave up a voluntary loss of parenting time so we could go after the thousands in child support he had not paid. Once I hired her, however, she didn't fight for that at all. Nor did she fight for the fact that I had been paying 100% of child care expenses for almost a year when our legal agreement had him paying half. She didn't really fight for anything for me. I would have been just as well off if I hadn't hired her at all and just let my ex have what he wanted. She wasn't a good advocate for me and that's what I needed, not a mediator.
