Mr. Kording was hired as the GAL assigned to my child custody case. After reading his report it was quite evident that he did not care at all about my 15 year old daughters wishes and he did not even look at the evidence provided that supported the verbal and physical abuse claims that were clear and numerous. The report he filed focused much more on the physical possessions and big house that her mother and step father had than the content of their character. Lucky for me he was appointed as a judge before my case was completed and the child psychiatrist’s assessment overruled his and I was able to get my daughter despite his report. She is now much happier, and our lives are much richer. So, in my experience, if you are a single father and he is the Judge who is ruling over your case I would strongly suggest having him removed and getting a better judge.

Mr. Kording was continually unavailable and failed to communicate, file paperwork, etc. in anywhere near a timely manner. Never returned phone calls, did not show up to hearings, did not respond to repeated contact attempts from other lawyer.

Scott is a personable young lawyer but lacks the follow-through to get the client through the legal process. He has good communication skills when he chooses to use them but often avoids talking to his clients or giving them updates on their cases as he should. We have been very frustrated with his representation!
