HORRIBLE UNETHICAL law firm. I was ripped off by this firm over $7,000 for 3 months of barely doing any work. They double bill you and were a joke in the eyes of my ex's attorney. The newbie associate who handled me produced poor quality legal work and had no clue as to what his paralegal was working on and when.

I have very mixed feelings about Claery and Green.
I will say that it is buyer beware with any family law attorney. Lance Claery gave me poor advice with how to proceed with child custody in order to get money from me. I wasted time and money taking a course of action that I now realize was unwise to begin with.
At the outset of my divorce, they assigned a young inexperienced lawyer.
At an important child custody hearing, they sent a brand new lawyer, who was not familiar with my case.
Finally, they assigned Eli Hammond to my case and I thought he performed admirably - he must be the one associate that they value because I think he's the only guy who is still there 3 years later.
I cannot say that I recommend Claery and Green because you cannot trust their advice. They are not in the business of providing reputable legal assistance, they are in the business of telling people what they want to hear in order to extract dollars from them.

Highly recommended!! I don't usually write reviews, but Mr. Lance Claery's commitment/work on my complicated legal case was outstanding. I cannot thank Mr. Claery and his staff enough for the outstanding job they did on my legal case. You and your staff made the best of a very difficult time in my life. From my initial phone call with Mr. Claery, I got the feeling that he was interested, focused and committed to my case. Once I started with his firm, I no longer felt scared and confused by my rights and how to negotiate the legal world.
Anytime I had an issue, concern or question with my case, Mr. Claery or his associate attorneys, were available to answer my question or address my concerns. Over the next twelve months it took to get to trial, we faced many challenges. I say we faced, because I felt like the entire staff was there with me every step of the way. What could have been a continued disaster ended with the outcome that I desired.

As divorces go, mine was amicable. What I needed guidance and legal advice to facilitate the processing of the formal paperwork. I'd retained an attorney via family recommendations prior to Claery & Green. I could never get a hold of him and felt I was not a priority as a client. I decided that I needed to consult with an attorney who only practiced family law. I am so glad that I retained the services of Cleary & Green to assist me. My goal was to be protected and to tie up loose ends. I never felt that I was a burden on my attorney or that I was not a priority to the firm. My attorney was accessible, emails and calls were returned promptly. Time was really important to me, I did not want to have a long and drawn out procedure. I was able to finalize my paperwork in a timely manner and move forward with my life. I'm grateful for the guidance, support and peace of mind that I gained from working with Claery & Green. I recommend their services to anyone needing a good family law firm.

I want to thank you so much for helping me through such a difficult process. I had been to 2 other firms and felt almost like I was left on an island alone ! I can't thank you enough for making such a difficult situation almost easy . What a difference when you have the right attorney i'n your court!

Lance Claery truly cared about my problems and took the time to really listen. He quickly implemented a plan and the results were fantastic. I would highly recommend this lawyer.

Lance Claery sounds knowledgeable over the phone, he did NOT handle my case. I paid him a $2500. retainer he assigned my case to a young attorney fresh out of law school with little experience, who showed up to court completely unprepared. I am on my third Lawyer at C&G We have lost every time we have gone to court. C&G even Charged my Bank Card without my consent or knowledge which caused over draft fee's I had to close my bank account. I no longer trust C&G I now pay them with MONEY ORDERS I would NOT recommend this Law Firm! I am much worst off now than when we started. C&G told me they could handle my case for $2500. To date I have paid them more than $5700. Now they want another $11,000.00 NOT GONNA happen..nothing has gone the way they said it would! When you are going through a divorce or a custody battle the last thing you need is bad legal representation! I am out of money! I am forced to seek legal aid..If asked what do I think about Claery and Green I'd say AVOID C
