Makes a good first impression,that's it. Don't be tricked.Hired her for divorce in which we had agreed on everything, needed the paperwork pushed thru.She said it's easy,had me deposit $1500 less than normal retainer,said things should be resolved by May/June.Come July I haven't heard A THING...eventually get told my settlement letter is being finalized, wait a month...nothing.Had quite a call with her in Aug when she literally yelled at me and told me I'm a child that doesn't understand how hard it is to be a lawyer, cost $427.$325 to change one line on the settlement.I'm missing 2 statements which account for $800 in unknown charges.$4154 for a divorce where both parties were in agreement.This woman is unprofessional and rude.She drags out the situation for her benefit.Its embarrassing to have her represent you in court...what lawyer wears a sundress to court?I'm reporting Sue,that may mean getting another lawyer to fight some of these bogus charges.Save yourself the trouble!!!

I'm very satisfied with the performance of Attorney Susan Kamman. She's an extremely detailed and knowledge attorney. My divorce case was very complicated and mind boggling with thousands of documents. Susan and her staff assembled all these documents in organized binders, and once my wife and her attorney saw these documents, they decided to settle saving a lengthy trial. Susan fought for me with her knowledge and familiarity of divorce law, resulting in a settlement that was certainly fair and just for all. I highly recommend Susan Kamman and I am happy with her services.

Sue understands and applies the law. Divorce is costly (my case dragged on) but Sue will try to move things along. Work with Kamman & Associates if you want every I dotted and T crossed.

Sue's & her staff were available and easy to communicate with. My case went longer then I had anticipated and to trial which was very costly. Since there was no material property or custody/visitation issues, I believe this could have been easily avoided. She will do a thorough, it may cost more and go a little longer then expected.

Susan is not detail oriented, procrastinates and didn’t even follow up on settlement proposals, etc. Susan is all about Susan, is self absorbed and lacks focus in your situation. In hind sight I should have gone with any other attorney even a newbie over her and probably could have done a better job Pro Se. Do yourself a favor and move on unless you have no opinion or mind of your own, in which case she's perfect for you since her opinion is the only one she will allow you to have. If I were you I'd read the "bad" reviews below as they best describe my experiance with Susan...TERRIBLE!

I first contacted Susan Kamman & Associates in 2009 to handle my divorce. They were always very professional and knowledgeable. This was an exteremely stressful, difficult time for me and my children. I feel that Susan and her team provided the best representation which gave me the power to keep moving forward. Since my divorce I have contacted Mrs. Kamman on several occasions for advice and referrals. I will certainly continue to do so in the future. I highly recomend this firm for divorce, or any family law matter.

Sue handled my custody case and was quickly able to accomplish what I struggled for months to do on my own. She was able to get a child support order in and my daughter was able to finally receive what was rightfully hers. She is very strong in the courtroom. You definitely need a gladiator like her in your corner. She was able to understand my needs and it was extremely comforting due to my situation, at that time. Would certainly recommend her to anyone I know, who needs legal help!

Sue handled my divorce and did so in a very efficient manner. Every thing turned out to be exactly what I wanted it to be. Thanks to her me and my ex wife are happily divorced and still remain friends. This was important due to the children that we had together. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends.

While I always found her to be very knowledgeable about the law and the facts of my case, I would agree with the comment below that said working with her was very stressful. In the months after my divorce was finalized, I often wondered if my w and I would have had better communication during the process if I had hired a different attorney. That said, the matter was resolved to my satisfaction - just a lot of bumps working with Sue along the way. It's probably telling that I have worked with another attorney on issues that have arise since my divorce was finalized and have found the process to be much easier.

Susan took on my case from another law firm. My case had dragged on for YEARS. Susan was able to streamline the issues, sort through tons of court documents and get a successful resolution to my case. She went the extra mile for me. I am a father and have custody of my son and can finally get on with my life.

Before hiring Susan, I had the unfortunate experience of accepting bad advice which complicated my divorce. My ex was also extremely bitter which further complicated matters.

Susan Kamman worked with me in settling a long overdue child custody case; she was phenomenal!! I'd stay away. Sue handled my divorce several years ago. While I found her to be very knowledgeable and was pleased with the resolution of the case, working with her was often more stressful than necessary. It seemed to me that she was overloaded with clients which often affected her ability to communicate. Personality-wise, we just didn't jive and I often found her tenacity in the courtroom to be embarrassing. At the end of my divorce, my ex and I needed to be friendly and co-parent our children effectively, too often I felt like Sue forgot that fact.

This attorney is the worst ever! Stay far away. She drags on the case and over charges big time!! She is dis-organized and has horrible follow through. I wish I would have done my homework on her before hiring her because she made my life a complete hell!!!!

Susan is the worst, she takes on new clients, that she doesn't have time for, cashes their checks for her retainer and then withdraws from the case when she gets in over her head. She doesn't prepare, doesn't study any of the details but simply relies on courtroom theatrics.
