We used Carol Delzer as our mediator in our divorce. She talked us into buying her package deal up front. She would forget key facts from one meeting to the next and made mistakes that we had to catch.
She is very anti-male. As the male, I had to watch her very closely. She would make sure my ex was informed of everything that may be a disadvantage to her, but would not do the same for me. I had a bad feeling so I hired an attorney on my own for some unbiased advice. So glad I did. I went back and told Carol what advice I had gotten on a major issue, and she told me I should not listen to any attorney that would give me that kind of advice. My ex and I could not agree on this issue and it had to be decided by the court. And the court made the decision just like the other attorney said it would. In my favor.
We have since had a disagreement on support numbers and I suggested we use an attorney to resolve it. My ex said she did not want to go back to Carol.
