I found Nicholas Charitsis while I was desperately looking for legal advice to help me with a first time offence minor assault charge that occurred due to being in a toxic relationship. Nic is an amazing lawyer, I was up for some serious charges including jail time. When you first meet him he is honest with you and lets you know what the out come could be good or bad. I had a domestic offense charge which occurred on 3/31/2019. I did my research for the criminal lawyers in GTA and I had four lawyers under my list (all of them had very high rating). Nicholas was the first lawyer that I met, and to be honest I was already ready to hire him after that meeting since he gave me so much confidence by explaining my case to me. He also brought up himself that he could get the fingerprints, mug shots and record of arrest at the police station destroyed. However, since I am a meticulous guy, I wanted to see what other lawyers would say too. The other three well-known lawyers did express to me that my case was not TOO serious but it could be tricky and would at least take 6 months to a year to resolve, but they didn’t even mention the destruction of the police record at all. I called Nicholas Charitsis' firm and hired their criminal defence lawyer Vadim Paskarou. Vadim’s work on my over 80 care and control charge was perfect! I was worried about getting a criminal record, but he took care of everything and I didn’t even end up having to testify - he told me that Christmas came early and I would just have to pay a $1000 fine for careless driving, which is a traffic offence (6 demerit points) not a criminal offence. I’m so happy with the result. Before the trial date, I met with him at least 6 times total to watch surveillance videos of me, solidify my defence, give me some information about the law, and do a dry run of the trial with my friend who was going to testify with me. I felt as comfortable as I could given the situation since he prepared me well. Vadim seems to have good report with the crown and others at court which I believe was to my advantage. Mr. Charitsis represented me on my second DUI offence. Yes, I am very ashamed of myself for this however this attorney was upfront and professional with me from our very first meeting. He explained the process, as well as what I could expect as an outcome should I choose him as my lawyer. I did a lot of research about minimum penalties imposed from the courts, as well as from the MTO. Nicholas pretty much assured me that he could better for me and definitely did not disappoint!

I attended court 10/15/18 for 2 charges - Over 80 and Impaired driving. I blew 175 and 157, hitting a light pole while driving. I guess that you can only love him or hate him based on all these reviews. If he wins your case you'll love him, and that's the category I fall in. Nicholas beat all of my DUI charges at the Scarborough court. I'm really happy that I hired him as my lawyer especially since this was my second DUI charge and I was facing jail time. I had the pleasure of meeting and retaining Mr. Charitsis after having to find a lawyer to help me with a charge of Failing To Provide a Breath Sample. 3 Lawyers I interviewed prior to Nicholas told me nothing could be done and that I should just plead guilty. Nicholas examined my case by taking over an hour talking to me to find out all the facts. He didn't charge me for his review of my file. After looking at the disclosure he was able to find problems with the police case. Nicholas suggested that we take an approach similar to a previous case that he had worked on and won. He showed me the decision of that case reported in the Ontario Reports. We then put our strategy together and decidedly to take my case to trial. Without a doubt Nicholas and his team are the best criminal defence lawyers in Toronto. I've retained hid services twice now and both time he has come through for me in a ongoing domestic dispute with my partner. I just resolved my Impaired, over80 mgs and Dangerous driving charges in the Toronto court with Nicholas. He was able to get all three criminal charges dropped and my case was reduced to a traffic ticket. I could have never imagined gettimg this amazing result. Legit the best lawyer in the city. Nicholas was able to have all three of my domestic assault charges dropped in Newmarket court. When I attended with him it was obvious that the judges and crowns had huge respect for him. Everybody knew him by his first name and even the judge told me that because I had an excellent lawyer my charges were withdrawn. Nicks office was always professional and updated me about my case every step of the way. I never felt out of the loop. His service with handling my matters during a very stressfull time in my life was top notch. Nicks fees were fair and I was happy to pay him every penny since he delivered exactly what he promised he would. He's my go to guy for any problems with the law from now on.

Excellent lawyer!!! Nicholas took on my DUI case and was able to have the charges dropped to a traffic ticket. His fees were reasonable and his office was always pleasant to deal with. Nicholas was very honest about my case from the beginning and he didn't hose me with extra fees at the end. Most important he saved my drivers licence and I didn't get a criminal record which was critical for me as a real estate agent. I'm very glad that I hired him. Nicholas Charitsis is a true gentleman and an excellent lawyer. I asked for his help in court literally while in tears. The police charged me with domestic assault on my partner of over 25years because I called them to report a verbal argument. To my surprise I found myself in handcuffs charged with assault over absolutely nothing. I was given bail conditions not to have contact with my partner and 3 children. This was right before the holidays which means that I couldn't go back home for Christmas. Nicholas immediately took on my case and told me not to worry. He did the impossible. Within 1 day he changed my bail conditions so I could go back home. Every other lawyer at the Finch courthouse said it couldn't be done. Nick saved my family and got me cleared from the assault charge. The most amazing thing is that he did it for no charge! This man is compassionate and cares about people. I retrained Nicholas for a very complicated bail hearing for my brother. The charges were domestic assault. The allegations very serious and the crown was motivated to keep him in jail. Not only did Nicholas answers his phone at 2am when I needed him the most but he attended court on the weekend to represent us and fight for my brothers release. Nick was amazing. He explained everything to me in plain language so I coild understand what was going on and he had a tremendous amount of respect by all staff members of the court. Even the judge knew him by his first name. Nicks advocacy skills were incredible. He was able to persuade the judge and the crown to release my brother when they originally wanted to lock him up and throw away the key. Nick is bright, energetic and no nonsense. He gets the job done and there's an obvious pride that he takes in his work. I would refer him to anyone seeking legal representation. He certainly impressed me!

Intelligent. Confident. Persuasive. Hard-working. Nick gets results. Period. These are the qualities that I needed in my lawyer to defend me and get the best possible result. I was charged with criminal flight from police and dangerous driving. After interviewing several lawyers only Nick was able to give me the assurance that I would not lose my drivers licence or get a criminal record. All other lawyers told me to plead guilty because the facts in my case were "too bad" and I would lose my licence for 1 year. Nick sat me down and explained what my options were and told me he would find a way to get me no criminal record and save my drivers license at the same time. At first the crown attorney would't budge, but after several pretrials Nick was able to persuade the prosecution to drop the criminal charges and offer me a sweet heart deal to a traffic ticket. My spouse had charged me with assault and i could not believe that this was happening to me. I gave Mr.Charitsis a call and right from the start Nicholas mapped out a plan of action and we stuck to it.I was very pleased with his services and final outcome of my case. My charge was dropped and no record. He was very professional and he cared about my situation(honest--which is hard to find in an attorney) and he was very affordable. Recently my son had gotten himself into a mess and things didn't look very good for him, and our family was very worried and freaking out. I have just recently resolved a traffic case with Nick, and was very happy with the results. I had quite a few charges, one being criminal, and was facing some jail time as well as huge fines and a license suspension. Nick made made a deal with the crown, which allowed me to keep my license, stay out of jail and my fine were less than half what it could have been. This allowed me to keep my job and basically my whole life together. He was very professional and took very good care of me, my brother has hired him as well, on my recommendation. He sole me down the river because he obviously had other things to do that day.When the prosecution rested all he could say was "What time are we going to your honour? Whne told 5:00 he replied (looking at his watch) OK defense offers no evidence. During the appeal trial he p[erjured himself to cover his incompetent butt.
