I had the unfortunate experience of being hit by a car while I was riding my bike. It was not my fault. The driver's insurance company told me I would not receive any payment for my bills until I was willing to take a "one time settlement." They kept talking about protecting the interests of the driver. No one was looking for my interests.

After he took my case, I felt a weight lifted - someone else who was knowledgable was going to deal with all of the unpleasantness I was having to deal with. The firm was very good at communicating with me about what was happening, and I am very satisfied with the settlement that was agreed on.
