During our one an only mediation meeting, Mary was very helpful at keeping the discussion focused on the substantial issues and not on feelings. But our case dragged on for months due to inaction on her part. Were it not for the very competent and helpful office staff, I might have assumed that I would never hear from Mary again. Until the last couple of weeks, virtually all emails went unacknowledged and unanswered. When I insisted on date commitments for completion of documents, they were missed by WEEKS. Some friends have offered condolences that this is how the legal profession is and perhaps that is true, but it doesn't mean I have to like it. In fairness, I know Mary is well respected and came recommended but I suggest you go into any engagement with her with specific performance demands. I am not a happy customer. I would not repeat this engagement.
