Jeff Dorsey represented me several years ago, and he was just tremendous! I was going thru a difficult divorce after being married for many, many years. He took great care of me. I will use him again if a need should arise. Thank you Mr. Dorsey

Jeffrey Dorsey promised he could take care of my charges no problem, he eventually did, after costing me thousands in lost wages by changing my court date without notifying me, and thousands more in travel back to VA and now REFUSES to return my phone calls. Saved $500, lost $5,000. Terrible lawyer! Lazy, rude, uninterested, overall failure!

Poor communicator, doesn't do what he says and does not follow through. Has cost me thousands of dollars due to not completing what he was paid up front to do on an estate.

I hired Jeff back in 1997 for a divorce case I was going through. I had to appear in court 3 different times and he was 15-20 minutes late each time. He had no knowledge of anything pertaining to my case. I definitly would not recommend him.

I hired Jeffrey Dorsey to represent me in a misdemeanor family charge in Oct 2010. I was visit VA at the time of the charge. Dorsey promised I would not have to ruturn to the state, and that he would take care of the charge- no problem. After changing my court date without notifying me, causing me to loose thousands in wages, I ended up spending about $2,000 more to come back to VA. And now that the case is "over" (he entered no lo contendere" plea, he has not answered or returned at least 50 phone calls I have made with questions about how the charge affects my professional license. Terrible lawyer, trust me, the extra $500 is worth all the trouble he will cause you- get a real lawyer!

This man puts his own interests in front of yours! he is by far the worst lawyer that i have ever dealt with!!! If you hire him for a case, dont expect to ever see him again, or even talk to him for that matter. if you were thinking about using Dorsey, Run, Run now, Run fast! because that is what this guy is going to do to you, take your money and run! he shows up to court clueless on anything about your case! he is a true deer in headlights, i just wish someone would plow him over. he is great if you want to walk into court worse off then before you even got an atorney! what a mumbeling idiot!! good luck to all of you seeking a lawyer, but please dont choose this guy!

Mr. Dorsey is in fact a pseudo-attorney. He hides behind low "set" fees, a good location, and his family's otherwise respectable name, then proceeds to let his client's opponent's attorney perform all the real work in a case, making their fees astronomical and significantly delaying legal processes that could be completed in a third of the time, freeing up valuable time and resources in the legal system and often to the detriment of his client's results. He routinely ignores requests from colleagues and has earned a reputation in the legal community for being slovenly and disorganized. In addition, he and his staff lie to obscure facts and delay cases. Jeffrey Dorsey is nothing more than a "good ole boy" with a big title and a small mind.
