I would not be here today if it wasn't for Myles Berman and his law firm. Myles Berman has been nothing short of spectacular and his legal team is second to none. I've used Myles Berman on more than one occasion and it is because of his teams legal expertize and the skills of Derek Danielson that I was not cohersed by the City D.A. into pleading guilty to a crime that I was Innocent from. Derek Danielson took my plea deal down from 16 months in a state penitentiary and turned it into a not guilty verdict in an actual trial. When Miles Berman says friends don't let friends plead guilty, he means it. I am in his debt and he will always be on my Holiday gift list. All I can say is wow! and thank you for my freedom Mr. Danielson and Berman!

When I was arrested and charged with a DUI for standing next to my vehicle waiting for a ride, I thought my life was over. I didn't know what to do but I heard advertisements on the radio for Myles L. Berman, so I called. They walked me through the whole process with the court and DMV hearings. They were great at explaining everything and answering my questions. William Duffy was a great attorney and my case ended up being dismissed. I would definitely recommend this law firm!

I would recommend Myles Berman and his staff to any who need professional representation and knowledgeable assistance.

I was arrested for a DUI,the top gun attorneys helped me from the beginning to the end,Derek was my attorney and he really knows and understands the law back and forth,I went to trial and he got me a (not guilty) on both accounts, it was money well spent. I went to Top Gun when I was arrested for a DUI.It cost me $4600. This expense was to take me through the 1st court proceeding and the DMV proceeding.I since found out that a public defender would have cost me nothing.Top Gun (Myles Berman) attys did nothing for my case.I even provided them with docs regarding discrepancies in the police report and those discrepancies were never brought up to the DA.I was assigned an atty from Top Gun to handle my court case. I had a long meeting with him.3 days before my court date,I called Top Gun to speak with my atty.I was told he left the firm and I was assigned a new atty, Aaron Fontana.I spoke with Aaron,3 days before my court date,he said he hadn't read my file so yet so he couldn't address any of my questions.At court he did nothing to challenge the contradictions in the police report.I rec'd 27 days hard labor,$1900 fine,9mos of drug and alcohol ed,19AA mtgs, suspended license.My first DUI.I would NOT recommend Top Gun.Use public defender.

I was pulled over in Newport Beach 1 1/2 years ago for DUI. I hired Michael Phillips from the Top Gun Newport Beach/Irvine office to represent me. He did an amazing job. We ended up taking the case to trial. Michael not only exposed all of the discrepancies in the prosecutions testimony verses what really happened, he also kept me calm through the whole ordeal. After three days of jury trial I was found not guilty on both the DUI charge and driving with a BAC over .08. I am extremely grateful for Michael, Miles and the whole Top Gun team. Without them I would have this illegitimate charge on my record and I would still be suffering for something i didn't do. Thank you Top Gun team!!!

Yelp review: I would give Myles Berman (Top Gun DUI) NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. Do your research before hiring any attorney...and whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! $7500 down the drain and I had to hire another attorney because I completely lost confidence in these guys. Just look at the positive ratings Myles Berman received...they aren't even 5 stars.
I'll update this review pending the results of my DUI case with my NEW attorney.

I hired the law offices of Myles L. Berman to represent me in a DUI case. I was in contact throughout the case with many people from his office including the receptionist, to 4 different lawyers for each stage of my case. ALL of the employees from MLB's office were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. After 1 year of this ordeal, my lawyer Derek Danielson represented me to the best of his ability when it went all the way to a jury trial and he got me off with a Not Guilty verdict (I call it being INNOCENT because I was INNOCENT until proven guilty). I was arrested for my 2nd DUI about 8 months ago. I thought I was a goner for sure. I figured there was going to be some good jail time in my future, not to mention how many classes I was going to attend and how much money I was going to fork out. I went to the Top Gun DUI office in Orange County and told them all about my situation and after one meeting I was convinced that these guys were the real deal and hired them on the spot. They handled everything for me very professionally. I had my final court date yesterday and Top Gun got my case dismissed! I could not be happier. A traumatic and unjust DUI arrest and a friend in the business led me to the Myles Berman Law Firm. Professional, respectful and aggressive are some adjectives to describe this law firm. I lost my DMV hearing but my court case was dismissed. It did cost a europe vacation, but the outcome was relief of stress, sleeping again at night and Dismissal. That is Priceless. Michael Grahn set the course to dismissal and was Wonderful in every way. Derek Danielson was tenacious and Amazing. If you need a law firm, don't hesitate to hire them.

Throughout my DUI case which was a 2nd charge in 10 years, I dealt with several members of the Law Offices of Myles L. Berman. They all were very knowledgeable on what I could expect and what were my best options to secure the best outcome for my case. After deciding to not accept the DA's offer and go to trial, they negotiated a deal with the DA to reduce my charge to a DRY reckless charge which, other than a fine and a few points on my license worked great in getting my license back immediately.

Mr. Derek Danielson from Myles Berman Top Gun office represented me in my DUI case which resulted in a Not Guilty verdict. He was up front and accurate as to how the trial would proceed and the possible outcomes. During the trail Mr. Danielson was always prepared and never missed a chance to make a point favorable to my case. I received a DUI in Truckee, CA which is traditionally a non-starter for any leniency. I figured I was done until a Los Angeles friend of mine recommended Myles Berman. Waste of Money. Wow these guys have to be the best right…well one could not be more wrong. I went to Myles L Berman for my DUI case. First understand that Myles L. Berman does not handle your case no matter what he may says. I did not get a great feeling in my fist conversation as he was more concerned with how much I make than the facts of my case. Rather than being given a flat fee quote it was more ok if you give us X amount of dollars we can get started on the case. After losing the DMV hearing and being told we need ever more money I was not happy. Things got worse when I was told to plead guilty. What was the money for? I had to go and spend more money on another attorney – who by the way was able to get my case reduced to a wet reckless – Myles L. Berman said it could not be done. Experts on DUI cases… more like experts and false advertizing and stealing from clients. No wonder they spend so much on radio ads no one will refer them.

Mr. Danielson did an excellent job,although the office staff that dealt with the dmv could have been more prepared and put forth a winning effort. I spent a tremendous amount of money and still lost the battle and will be spending alot more for quite a while to com.

I wish I had known of this site before I hired Myles L. Berman to take my money and do nothing for it. Words cannot express how dissatisfied I was with his services. First he does not handle the case at all. He makes you believe that he will use his so called experience to get a great deal. However in reality he hands the case off to someone else that just goes to court and takes whatever is offered from the DA. When I was told it looks best to plead guilty I asked what about all the things you told me when we talked before I paid you. Basically I was told I could take the case to trial and pay $15,000 more for trial. After already paid this hack $7,500 to basically get the same deal I could have without an attorney there was no way I was going to pay him more. I just wish this prevents someone else from wasting their money on a guy that basically just runs a DUI mill and provides nothing for his clients.
