Steer away from this nasty excuse for an attorney! Her one and only goal is to squeeze every bit of money out of you she can!!!! She is not about helping you or the family, and forget about the best interest of the kids! She is for the all mighty dollar and will lie, yell, scream and trash it up any way she can! We were in a court waiting area once and she was yelling and swearing at another attorney. A judge had to come out and quiet her,....I was embarrassed for her!!!! She made up lies to the apposing attorney and even suggested becoming unemployed in order to reduce child support! This woman is nothing but white trash!!! If you want to throw money away, choose her! She’ll find every angle she can to drag out even a simple situation so her “work hours” are billable!!! Suggestion for anyone getting a divorce: hire a mediator!!!!

One of the best attorneys I've had. Consciousness, intelligent, hard-working, DOES NOT run up the bill. Fights when necessary, is brutally honest even when you may not want to hear. Clearly tells you the best course of action. Always has kid's best interest in mind. The ratings that bash this attorney are probably all people who lost to her & now wish they had hired her--I hired her after I lost to her in other case. She did fantastic job & never gave me false information or unreasonable expectations. With her I found success & not your typical "attorney" I would recommend her to anyone!!! Anyone that wants to win! Those haters---look at her record of SUCCESS both in divorces & appeals before you talk.

Maria is an angry inch. HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL behavior, she's the school bully who never got beaten up by a bigger kid. Steam rolls everyone in the room and yells at her own clients. Her attempts at "settlement" are only in her clients interests and laughable, she only has interest in settling up a big bill for everyone involved through grandstanding. She doesn't care about the children represented in cases nor their best interests.

Extremely disgusting woman! She will lie, deceive and do anything to get extra money from you. She has NO care for what is best for children. Every divorce should be what is best for them. She will spit lies, and demean you along with the other party. Buyer beware, she is on probation and chances are, your case could be overturned if she is found guilty of bribing another judge!

Unfortunately Maria can't give everyone 100% of the results they would like to get. She tries though. I for one like the way she talks. I didn't need to hear any more lies or deception.. I had enough of that before my divorce. One of my biggest fears as a father was I would be shut out of my children's lives.(don't be naïve and say that doesn't happen) Thanks to Maria, I have joint custody of my children and I love it.

Absolutely, the most disgusting person I have ever met. She is unbelievably rude, disrespectful, sloppy, unkempt and ethically challenged. I honestly can not believe that anyone has anything good to say about her. If you are looking to spend thousands of dollars on one extension after another. This is your girl! Please be advised; you will be called names, degraded, filled with lies about your case and taken for every cent she can get out of you. I find her ethics very questionable. She will pick and choose which laws work best for her or how she can put her own spin on it. She will not only bully you as her client. But, anyone she comes in contact with. If it helps her own personal agenda. Honestly, she is a horrible person in every sense of the word. Worst choice I ever made was hiring her.

My family and I have been with Maria quite some time. She has worked plenty of cases for us. She is definitely a busy woman, But my cases are still taken care of. Not too pleased with the person sent in with our last case. she seemed to not know our case at all, but still had somewhat of a good fight in her. (can't remember her name) But I do approve the tell it like it is attitude. one thing is though when we have put so much time to build up evidence and its not even brought up or used in court.

Maria represented my dad and is very family oriented. She did an excellent job. I would recommend her to anyone especially anyone who wants custody of their kids.

Maria fought for me when I was in middle school I love this woman and one day she is going to get my uncle out of prison she does tell you like it is and does get very involved remind me where that is a problem

Maria has been my lawyer for many years. Maria is maria she's going to tell you like it is. She won't lie or sugar coat things. Maybe the bad reviews are from people who can't stand the truth??? Anyways maria is a great lawyer she goes in fighting for you and gets the job done. She knows what she's doing. And excellent at what she does. Yes she is expensive but you do get what you pay for. If you don't want to pay her price then you can always go the court appointed lawyer way. But honestly maria is well worth ever penny I've spent over the years. and for the person who made a comment about she can't have a family of her own your so wrong. She can have a family when ever she wants she could adopt but she doesn't she is focused on her job. She is dedicated to her work.. Know her beyond the court room she is like family to me and my kids and our lawyer. I think some of these. Comments are from other lawyers or prosecutors she put to shame. We love you maria from the Taylor family.

My experience with Maria Pauly as my attorney was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It was truly unbelievable that even as her client she would be verbally abusive to me, using foul language and telling me to shut-up and just do what she said. I was shocked and dismayed because I did nothing to provoke this type of response from her. She did nothing for my case but actually make it worse, so I dropped her. She caused me more stress which was the last thing I needed and was a total waste of money for me. It would be in your best interest to pass on her and find someone else. Maria Pauly is a horrible attorney in my opinion.

I used this attorney in my divorce (I'm a guy). I'm convinced that if you're a guy that is a total dirt bag, and don't have a chance in hell of winning anything in court because of your history, and just want to cut your losses, then Maria is probably for you, she will get you OUT of trouble because she knows the system. If you're not that guy then run. My calls and emails were rarely returned during the months before the trial and at the trial, it was like she had barely reviewed my evidence or knew anything about my case, it was like she just looked at my case for the first time the morning of the trial. I feel like I had a good case with good evidence for full custody but she was more concerned with filing paperwork and going through the motions than actually fighting for her client, I ended up with shared custody. It cost me $15,000, her billing system is a joke and will leave you confused and wondering what you got billed for, and I totally felt like "just another number"

I have never experienced an attorney to be so unethical, disrespectful and aggressive in an negative way. I have been dealing with the court system in my profession for over 20 years. Maria Pauly will costs you thousands for a simple case just because she will not have the mentality to work together with the opposing party for any matter. Her approach is evil and in your face to try and get you flustered on the stand for her advantage to crush you by adlibbing of the facts and straight up lies. I dont know how this woman sleeps at night with her actions on her conscience. I feel sorry for anyone that is involved with her for any matter, legal or not. She literally disgusted me from one professional to another. down right horrible!

These ratings of her suck. She's amazing I'm a guy and I nearly have custody of my son and its not over yet she's the bomb. Again I'm the guy and almost have custody of my son from his mom I would always use her she whipped the floor with top rating Dave Milage she stands her ground and gets what she wants she is a true fighter

Regardless if she defends you or is against you she is cruel and ruthless. She has no interest in making family's work together in separating assets and parting ways to amicable, but to find ever angle to make more and more money from you. I have been harrassed by her and my ex husband for over 15 years and could have paid for 3 children's education for what she has done to me and my son's life. To make it even more unprofessional, she would call me names outside the courtroom and tell other attorneys not to represent me. I am dedicating my time to free speech and making sure that no one else has to be exposed to losing your hard earned money to bitter women that take out families because she can have any of her own.
