Doesn't waste time. Pay him, give him your disclosure and meet him to discuss your case. He then meets the Crown and you decide whether you want a trial or to plea. This guy doesn't delay.

When my mom got charged for Careless Driving (after getting in to an accident), we followed a friend's referral and met Mr. Borges. Our family was quite nervous since none of us have ever had any problems with the law. Mr. Borges put everyone at ease very quickly, explained my mom's options, and removed a lot of the stress we had. He treated my mom with a lot of respect, explained things very slowly and with calm (since English is not her first language), and made us all feel like he really cared about the case. We were totally surprised by this, since we had heard horror stories about lawyers. However, Mr. Borges is very different---he's obviously very smart, but he's also quite charming and caring. We all felt lucky to have found him. BTW, my mom won her case and didn't even have to testify. We were so relieved. I now recommend Mr. Borges to my family and friends.

Instead of using an expert in DUI charges, I used this "jack of all trades but expert at none" who dabbles in criminal law. If you want someone good, stay away from the locals and get someone from Toronto.

he's pricey, but really worth it. but, u get what u pay for. He is very smart and fights hard for you---the kinda guy u definitely want in your corner. I especially like that he actually listens to what u want--doesn't do anything without your permission. He treats u like u r the boss!!! I would rather pay more and get quality than go on the cheap and get screwed. He's totally worth it!

I don’t think it was a rip off to hand my tax problem over to Mr. Borges. I know I had to spend money to save even more money with the CRA in the long run.

This guy is awesome! He stuck to his word, was kind with my family at the courthouse, and fought hard to get me outta jail. He treated me nicely and got great results. Can't say enough good things about him--he's off the charts good!

He is very smart and has a pleasant personality (very charming). He explains the law to you and your options clearly and in a way you can understand. Gives it to you straight and honest without any BS spin!
