Mr. Mongillo was highly recommended to me several years ago while in the midst of worst divorce many Judges, lawyers and therapists have heard of. He was very kind, compassionate and seemed too authentic to be true. Unfortunately I chose to go with a smooth talker who took me for whatever he could. When I had enough of being swindled and financially raped I met Mr. Mongillo a second time and decided to give him a try.
If I could turn back time I would have hired Leo as my 1st lawyer nine years ago. Leo and his staff have been the most child focused family law professionals of the 5 lawyers I had. Mr. Mongillo and his staff are knowledgeable, sincere, compassionate and understanding of my frustration with an otherwise criminal system. I recommend Mongillo Law with full confidence, to anyone going through this difficult process. They cut through the BS of our pathetic court system and they get results without bankrupting the client.

Very expensive and at first seems very nice but everything is lengthy. He doesn't realize that part of the help we need when going through a divorce is emotional support and still he throws all sorts of work at you while he's charging so much just filing it.

Very expensive and at the end nothing gets finalized. 4 years later and issues are still pending after spending over 20K on legal fees. Not recommended. THere are many lawyers out there and will charge you less and finalize all your matters.

This lawyer took $5,000 from me, promised to address several issues, then dropped me on them in court and hurled me into the abyss of never-ending, useless case conferences, knowing the other party was constantly in breach. He lied about what he said would be addressed and then held my file hostage until I paid him the money which most of it I still to this day don't know what it was billed for. The one time I attended the office, he charged me over $1,000, but left the room to meet with another client several times. I also got a parking ticket outside their office yet they just looked at me and said "That's too bad". Stay away from this lawyer.
