Miss weatherspoon past away , she costed me 8 years of my life ,stuck in the worse battle for my child .she had no clue as to how to file proper document ,made crucial mistake and like other said was all about your money , she had no problem with being unethical. She was the least respected lawyer in Hamilton,her and the office she worked at . My respect to her son who has turned out very different , young respectable man even though the upbringing he was facing. Her life was run like her law practice ....in other hand I self represented after my experience with miss Weatherspoon and now have complete custody of my child who is doing great ...so fathers , don't give up ,press on and don't fall for lawyer who claim they are for you , especially if they play the tough lawyer ....do your research and if you truly need a lawyer, remember their is a reason they give you a disclaimer as you walk in their office ;" we cannot promise you any results " .

I had her when I was 17 fighting a custody battle against a brick wall mother was a flight risk who wasn't around for 2 years I should of won lost what I had and got my parents involved with another lawyer John venn another waist of flesh all fiona did was let him talk and sitting behind them made it look like they were on a cheap date ended up loosing custody to my parents and almost had his mother come back in my life between those 2 they ruined me she recently died and I'm stuck with an old court paper and miserable as****

Doesn't return calls or emails, is not prepared in court, sloppy looking in court ignores your questions and brushes you off. I wish I could have afforded another lawyer but I was stuck with her, told me wrong date of court and did not notify me of new date find a different lawyer or use her boss ms. Porter

i hired fiona for a custody case and she has done nothing but disappoint me. she does not return my calls, EVER! and though she seems to be somewhat knowledgable, she does not take time to explain things to me that are very important. she has told me that it was a waste of her time to show up at the court on a scheduled court date and said that she would call the opposing lawyer (my exes) and ask them to speak for my case. when i first met fiona she seemed nice, after dealing with her for almost a year now, i have lost absolutely all confidence in her and her ability as a lawyer. i think she says what she has to to get paid, but has no interest in stepping up once she gets her money. i have had numerous negative experiences with fiona. i am sure that im going to lose all the money i have paid fiona, and i dont have extra money to try to get a new lawyer, seeing as i have given fiona all i have. and if i keep her, i will probably have no chance at coming through this trial ahead... :(

Very negative experience!! I hired Fiona to handle an uncontested divorce, she is very knowledgeable but was always too busy for me. Didn't return my calls, didn't keep me updated and 5 months after I paid her in full I had to hire another lawyer because I felt I had to push her to get anything done. I am still waiting for my documents back from her, I was told by someone in her office it will be two weeks before she would sign them off to me because she is in trial. I would not recommend her.

Would recommend this lawyer over & over! She was very knowledgable & dealt with everything in a timely fashion. My calls were returned same day or day after & her bill was very affordable.

Avoid her a all cost,all she cares about is geting your money.She has no time to explain anything to you,or help in anyway.She disclosed another client to me(breach of trust) She told me the judge was a **** and hated her.Not to professional.She told me I was a waste of her time,because I would not sign a offer that she did not have time to go over with me.I refuse to sign what I do not fully understand.It was obvious she did not want to work with me after repeatedly saying I was a waste of HER time.I signed her off my case,then got the bill witch she over charge me by $725.I have filed a complaint with the L.S.U.C.As I see it she was a waste of my time and money.She has only added to my emontional pain.
