Mr. Henderson shoots straight from the hip. He will be up front and represent you well. My case drug out for over a year and he kept my costs low, which I appreciated very much. He gave me great advice and ultimately got my case dismissed. Would highly recommend him!

I don't like to start things out this way but I don't have enough negative things to say about someone that should be in a professional role and trying to take care of people issues. I'm in the military and was summoned to court, I gave Kevin 3 weeks notice that I wouldn't be able to attend, a day before the court date he decided to act on my information, charges me for $442 to cancel the appearance and to call the other sides lawyer, he's a scam artist. 2k retainer and he's done nothing for me. Never sent any responses to emails or inquiries, his assistance did so in such broad terms a child could have done so. I had to gather the information for him and remind him of my case over and over again, he seemingly never opened an email nor paid attention to the specifics. He will use you, be careful of this con artist.

Stay away from this old fool, can't remember anything about your case, never answer your phone, he keep charge my monthly fee for doing nothing, before final you have to tell him everything all over again, of course he will charge for that. then lose your case for sure.

Be warned! This man is called "dishonest" in every review about him! I can attest to that. He lied right to my face! He charges $2,500 retainer fee, saying that this is the cost of the case, but then sends you a bill after for another $2,000, saying he won't file the papers that the judge ordered him to file, unless he gets this additional fee. He even charged me for documents the other lawyer for the other side wrote! He is the reason lawyers have their public reputation.

Kevin Henderson pitched a good sales pitch to get my money. I was very excited because I have lots of evidence and information to help me win. As soon as he received my payment he did nothing!! I had started and filled everything myself to start with, went to court and didn't want to proceed without an attorney. That's when I hired Mr. Henderson. 2 days before my court date, I contacted his office to find out that they didn't even have me on their calender. I have been calling them about every two weeks for the last 4 months to work my case. Every call they have some new excuse on why they didn't do what they were supposed to do. I have communicated with the apposing lawyer more in the first 2 weeks than I can with my lawyer (Henderson) in the last 4 months. It looks like from the reviews, your odds of being represented fairly are 1-8.

I personally think all of these other reviews are false. My husband and I recently hired Mr Henderson for a custody case and he has been nothing short of a top attorney. He is very good at communicating, he sends us emails or calls us with any information, etc. He gives us any and every document on our case to save in a folder. He was very quick to get us a TRO and a court date. I personally would hire Mr. Henderson again, he has been probably the best attorney we have hired.

as dishonest as they come. Underhanded and cares about nothing but himself. He cost my family an absolute fortune. Cut deals on his behalf involving our case and refused to file on the other parties for violation of court orders,the lists go on and on.He can sit there and look you right in the eye and lie, walk out the door and convince himself that he did the right thing.Can you imagine what he was like as a judge!Scary thought right. Go to the zoo get a monkey, your better off. He is lazy and is more interested in cutting deals than the truth. Selfish and shady.Scared to death of a court room. He now has a practice in georgetown. Imagine that!

Issues:
1. Non responsive!
2. Opposing counsel would be the one to notify us of arrangements & case status.
3. None of the issues that we hired him for have been resolved! His response to me is that I have to be patient. Meanwhile, we have missed settlement mediation dates, waited 6 weeks for temporary orders to be drafted when we & the court were told it would take 2 weeks. Only after the other party threatened to reset the case for court and void the deal did he get it drafted. It's stressful enough when dealing with child custody and support issues but to be ignored & have to chase down Mr. Henderson day after day waiting on responses, opposing counsel chasing him with no responses, opposing counsel sending me information about my case that was sent to my attorney and he doesn't bother to send the information to me is unprofessional and a dereliction of his duty. If you want an attorney that will fight for you, I highly recommend you retain someone besides Kevin Henderson.

Totally agree w/ previous review. We trusted our son to be Executor of the family Estate and after he manipulated bank accounts to the tune of $182,000 this guy advised him " If no one knows about it- keep it". He will not provide any paperwork concerning the Estate ( Bank accounts etc) Has never said " My client has done nothing wrong" Only tries to negotiate "Agreements" totally in our son Haydn Nelson's favor.Terrible and dishonest lawyer. Stay Away !!!

Terrible Atty! No real consults or discussions about concerns - My friend was a stay at home mom x2yrs with 2 young children - Husband made $100,000/YR -Atty Henderson advised she couldn't have the home if she couldn't afford the mortgage & not enough equity to sell so it was best to let the Husband just keep it! She was advised that the furniture and furnishings in the house (minus the expensive items her husband wanted)were all she could really get - There was only 1 Mediation(2-3/typical)- Her husband didn't furnish his wage info for the last year but Atty Henderson didn't think it wld be much more $ for support, & supported no challange of such. Her Husband got a House worth over $200,000,2 boats,expensive tools &lawn equipment - The House stayed in both names as well as bills prior to separation - HOUSE WAS FORCLOSED/NO BILLS WERE PAID! My frnd didn't even know abt the date of her divorce hearing until a packet came by mail on a Friday advising the hearing was the coming Wed!
