We had a HORRIBLE experience with him. Chose him because he's AAAA and everyone said to do adoptions with one of those. From Day 1 he never answered any phone calls or emails. Only wanted to give us info through private consultations at $200/hour. Then he wouldn't explain things very clearly (like what forms were called) so I never could ask him intelligent questions about the process. Never explained what the next steps would be. Seemed uncertain about basic things like Indian Child Welfare Law. Promised to look into things for us -- and we NEVER heard back about them! Found no evidence he was doing anything for us! Asked him to take care of something immediate - 2 weeks went by, no response to my 3 msgs. I'd had enough. He's expensive but not a good value since he does nothing for you. Never asked for a retainer fee or showed an invoice for work done. We switched to a lawyer who communicates with us.
