I'm very suprised to find out 22 years later this person is still practicing law! In 2000, I had a Real Estate case based on joint ownership going on for a Meaford property heard in Owen Sound court house. This case began years earlier while I was overseas & the other owner was an elderly gentleman. Unknown to us another M eaford attorney: Brian R. filed a claim against me without legal authorization, only Hearsay! I prepared all the documentation in the case.. In 2000, I hired Carol Allen & handed over my files.. without consultation to understand the case, she cancelled the court date, thus ensuring an Owen Sound judge would preside instead of the Toronto judge. The first day in court, Reinken realizing they had No case, made another effort at settlement.. Not offering full compensation. Then, analyzing my own situation & refusing to have others implicated decided to walk away! Carol got the cheque & took a massive payment, gave me almost nothing! No skills, No Integrity, Greed!

Available, pulled together last minute strong argument but unorganized and Forgot specifics. Quick spoken and strong but offending and rude and disrespectful. No need to be foul mouthed. Overall okay value but wanted better relations with ex. Carol made things worse and made to many court requests that costed me far to much money. She got me a lot of stuff though but it was not a big deal and it was at a big cost.

very organized to the point.demonstrated confidence when questioning witness on the stand. found her a pleasure to deal with and will certainly use her services again.

Carol has good knowledge of matters she is experienced in such as CAS cases. CAS even said she is a good laywer and they deal with her lots. You will almost always be able to reach her through email. She charges 25$ for every email or phone call whether your questions are answered or not...most often not. She excessivly cows to the judges and other laywers during court. Her ability to relate with her clients leaves much to be desiered. In fact, she is often shockingly rude. She minimizes domestic violence wherever possible although this may be just a reflection of the judicial system as a whole but she still makes you feel like sh*t. My experience is she makes up her mind on what a probable outcome will be and pressures her clients to conform. She does not come with notes for court and often appears overwhelmed and disorganized. She does very little research but composes fairly decent affidavits in remarkably little time.
