Elizabeth was a machine. I showed up in her reception with two banker boxes of paper almost one year into my court action in Brampton and after spending thousands on a useless lawyer in Pickering. My wife had me charged, i was having supervised access to my two sons, imputed almost 100k more than what i earned for support and she had added my company to the court litigation. About nine months later and about anther 50k later in fees I was able to move on with my life. I got my kids 50% of the time, charges dropped and joint custody. I'll always remember calling her pissed at mom for something and her telling me that if I wanted to have a my kids for shared time I had to print an 8x10 of my ex and pin it to my wall and every morning remind myself for the sake of the boys she was my best friend. LOL. Family court is a joke that destroys peoples and children's lives. My kids are teenagers now, I thank god for being referred to her when I was. My situation would of ended very differently.

Elizabeth was the best lawyer I had during a very messy divorce, where my ex was unwilling to give me shared parenting even with table support. Elizabeth was my 4th Lawyer (Partially due to circumstance with another Lawyer I had) and I was so happy I found her. She not only managed to get shared parenting, but even worked to fix mistakes of other lawyers that wanted me to throw in the towel. I can't say enough good about her, but would highly recommend her and if I needed her again would not hesitate for a second. For those that understand, I was divorcing a teacher and didn't realize how many lawyers don't want to take on that type of divorce because of how unreasonable they can be. My ex was considered to be in the 95th percentile.

OMG! This joke-for-a-lawyer should be disbarred. She is a complete idiot and does not know what she doesn't know. She acts like she knows everything but fails miserably. She will not protect her clients or act in their best interests. She only wants billable hours. Better Call Saul instead.

Works part-time and complained because she was required to work on her off days. Not Knowledgeable of procedure and unable to clearly explain. offers mickey mouse service and will take advantage of oblivious client like myself whom put thier life into her hands. Overbills so really watch and take note of how she account for her time and bills you on your account. Keep track of everything. She is a scammer. I can go on forever with the horrible service provided that has made me suffer for years to come. I hope you enjoy the money I paid you and you screw my life up even more Mourao. SHe is a coward and will not stand up for me as client and did not put in pertinent exhibits that would incriminate another opposing lawyers unethical behavior. Looks like she will take care of her lawyer politics over the client whom is being screwed over by the opposing side.

The worst lawyer ever , she told me to ask for full discloser and in the end wasn't even able to read the documents which she charged me $$$$$, I was just a # to her

She is a little rough at the start but warms up after a while / the problem is that she is very busy and expensive / at the end of everything the agreement I signed was not what I thought it was and my ex is going after me again

Ms. Mourao was my second lawyer, she was referred by a coworker she had represented. She returned my calls, answered my questions and was attentive to my file. After spending thousands of dollars with my first lawyer she was able to negotiate a quick and sensible settlement.

Elizabeth is my worst experience in family law (it is supposed to be the divorce itself). She cost me thousands of dollars with no results. She completely mishandled my case which resulted in unnecessary court appearances that could have been avoided if she came up with right approach first time around. Then she gave away thousands of dollars to my ex in financial settlement negotiations without my approval.
