Unbelievable! I went through 4 different attorneys on my case. I had to repeatedly call them to remind them of documents that needed to be files and then when my bankruptcy was discharged they drop the ball on reaffirming my mortgages!

Our paperwork was lost repeatedly. The time frame they gave us, was half of what actually happened. Only after threatening to contact the BBB and Bar Association did ANYTHING move on my petition. Each time I called them, I was told 3 more weeks. The night before our 341 mtg, we were given a reminder call. The day of the meeting, our lawyer didn't show. Several other clients were waiting as well. After contacting the local office, we were told the lawyer was running late. They gave us his phone number. 2 calls were placed to the lawyer, he never answered. Another lawyer offered to call ours for us. Amazingly, he got right through to him. It was then, our attorney informed other lawyer, he wasn't coming. The 3rd party lawyer was asked to stand in for ours, even though he wasn't part of our firm, nor did he have any of our paperwork. It has been excuse after excuse with this firm. Check with consumeraffairs.com for similar complaints.
