Ms. Pilshaw was a Guardian ad litem for a child I was attempting to adopt. The parents were having parental rights severed and I was instructed by my attorney to contact Ms. Pilshaw to interview regarding her placement recommendation. After five messages to her office on five different days, none of which she ever returned. She submitted a silent recommendation and never appeared at the court. The child was placed elsewhere, though not a bad placement. She could have shown the professionalism to have returned my calls if nothing else but to say she had made her recommendation already. I liked her as a judge, as I thought she was funny. I would not hire her as an attorney as I think she is a joke.

Ok. I've been meaning to do this for years. Rebecca, I'm sorry its taken me so long. I'm a former client of Ms. Pilshaw. I was in desperate need of counsel and representation in early 90's in a bitter custody fight for my two young children. I was young, freshly divorced, employed and trying to survive an abusive relationship as well as an abusive parent. For time and space's sake I'll just say that my mentally ill parent forced me onto the streets and kept my kids. It was her intention to raise them. I was defamed, slandered, and emotionally abused by my parent. My parents wirked the system and kept our case in limbo for four years hoping I would give up and go away. Rebecca was told about my case by a social worker who saw my parents mental illness. Rebecca took me as a client pro bono. She never asked one dime of me. She won my case. I got my kids back. She saved my life. Rebecca, if u see this I love you. I'm sorry this town has been so mean to you. You r an angel in my eyes. SJ

I never had phone calls returned to me, she did not do most of what she was suppose to do and cost me $10,000 when she did not file for money owed to me in time. Then she had the nerve to bill me for it. I would never recommend her even if she were still in business. I received a notice from another lawyer that she has retired. I assume forced.

The worst lawyer I have ever seen. She never showsup on time. Three times I showed up for courtto find out it was continued and her office never called me to tell me. She never seemed to know what was going on with the case. I think she is a crook just out for the money.

This lady sounds good at first. But very lazy. Won't show up for court. Won't answer calls. When you want a refund, she will give you very little back. Over charging you for everything to keep most of your money! DO NOT USE!!!

I had Rebecca for a family law case. DO NOT HIRE HER she is horrible, rude, over priced and lazy. Her and her assistance never return calls or emails but will charge you for them. I fired her and went to collect my refund check she yelled at me and told me to get out her office. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! She told me she would do the best to win my case we went to court and she didnt help at all she stood there and helped the other lawyer collect money. she is a crook!

I would never refer Rebecca Pilshaw to anyone. She is so disorganized! She never shows up for court until you call her! You can never get a hold of her! Then she tries to back out of your case after you paid her to do it! NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!

This Lawyer won't postpone court dates against people even when the defendent has had a PFS against the client and was served the day before the defendent went out of state. Refuses to return calls even when you call every day. I would NEVER refer anyone to her or her office. What a disaster.

she is awful. had her on a case for 13 months. did not do anything. won't return calls. yells at her clients. I sat in court for 1 hour cause she was late. DO NOT USE HER. SHE WAS A JUDGE BEFORE AND WAS FORCED TO QUIT. I KNOW SEE WHY.
