I send email after email and never get any answers. I feel very disrespected. My expectations were outlined when I first began working with their team, and my family member's estate has still not been settled after over a year. This is a simple case and should be easy for them as it is what they say they do.

WONDERFUL!!!! I HIGHLY recommend using Jasmine Sweatman for your will & powers of attorney. She specializes in this area & can make your will very specific if you are capable of explaining your wishes in detail. Please remember, you are part of the process & thus need to educate yourself in this important area of your life. Legal info can be accessed free on the internet to allow you to be an informed client, so that you work well with your lawyer. You should have a clear end goal before asking any lawyer to do all the work for you! After all - your will is your last wishes, so be a participant in the process & you will be very happy with the outcome! Jasmine & her staff at the Georgetown office have been a pleasure to deal with. Very polite, efficient, compassionate & with the utmost professionalism. Jasmine is very experienced & is a woman that I can trust. I suggest that you entrust her with your legal business & then you can join me in writing another positive review!

Sweatman has broken our family apart, put my mother in the hands of an incompetent, and harassed her to change financial advisors. She is incapable of understanding dementia and took an 86 old women who just lost her partner and never checked out her ability to make decisions or contacted her POA. She should be sued for malpractice and her license taken away. After a year in court we finally secured my mother in a safe place and it took Sweatman another year to hand over her files even after she was given a court order. She should have been charged with contempt. She also secured her own attorney knowing full well she ways culpable. She is a disgrace to the profession with no compassion.

This lawyer provided the purchase and sale for our houses. They made so many mistakes. I had to keep correcting the ledger for them. They also had the most important document (the contract sale) with the wrong names on it!! Not sure what would have happened in the future if we didn't catch this mistake. I had a colleague use this lawyer as well and the same mistakes!!! They do not pay attention to detail. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER.

With the recent passing of my father, Jasmine was compassionate and understanding towards my mother when preparing her will, powers of attorney and changing ownership on the family home. JASMINE and Leigh took care of our real-estate closing purchase/sale also our wills. They were great very knowledgeable friendly service at the right price. They were able to walk us through the whole process during a time of stress which made us feel more comfortable. We had closed homes in the past but they always had issues. This was the first time that everything was done right the first time. Quick closing error free very smooth. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

This woman was incredible. Kind, compassionate, understanding of her knowledge and what I needed to know in return. She was firm in having me face the facts but in a kind way. She followed up at 10 PM to put closure on the file as she said she would. Excellent customer service and legal advice. I would highly recommend this woman.

Jasmine Sweatman is a wheelchair chaser and is encouraging Will changes for folks in their late eighties. At this point in life concepts are confusing and they are easily manipulated. This in turn frustrates family and increases Ms Sweatman's billable hrs. I would not recommend this lawyer

Jasmine is very knowledgeable in the areas of estate law and estate planning. She was very patient with my constant questions. I can understand why Jasmine is so busy because she is so hands on with each file. All of my questions went to her for consideration and I appreciate that! I hired her and she was involved in each aspect of my file.

Litigation is hard and sometimes I didn't always understand what was going on but I trusted Jasmine and her team and they helped me get through this difficult process. Jasmine was creative inot trying to find solutions for the problems and definitely knew the law. We ended up settling at mediation which was what I wanted and I was happy with the result.

Jasmine is a joke of an attorney... She doesn't understand urgencies, nor does she have your best interest in mind. I repeatedly contacted her in the beginning of the week only to have her return correspondence at 5pm on a Friday! Once I am done suing the estate for my entitlement I will be following up with a law suit against her and her laughable firm! DO NOT RETAIN THIS LAW-FIRM! You'd have a better chance representing yourself! I can honestly say I hope her practice fails from this point on! The stress I've indued alone is enough to wish Ill on this women!

Do your research before giving Sweatman Law your business. The only thing this firm seems to be on the ball with is their invoicing. Had to constantly follow up, ask for explanations, correct spelling on documents. Ask to be sent the documents. I Was lead to believe I had a solid case. The law was on my side, when it came down to the crunch, she couldn't be bothered and suggested I settle out of court. A totally bad experience and a costly lesson.

I'm surprised by the reviews on this site. Jasmine does amazing work and is very knowledgeable. She isn't as responsive to emails as I would have liked but the value for her services is comparative to big firms in TO where the hourly rates are more expensive. I've used Jasmine for estate work and real estate work and I am always happy with the result.

this firm was recommended as THE experts in estate law. Ms. Swetman made no effort based on the reason for the referral. We constantly asking for an update, instuction to reslove with no action taken. 3 years & $$ with an issue that should have taken a few months at most. Would NOT recommend Sweatman Law.

When I first met with Jasmine I felt very confident that she understood the issues of my case and that she would be able to help me. I quickly learned that she was more concerned with billing me than providing effective legal strategies that would aid in the resolution of my estate file. It would take days for her to respond to emails/phone calls. It was very frustrating to deal with her and her invoices added insult to injury. I was often left thinking, "What did I just pay for?" The level of service I received was substandard for someone who claims to be an expert in estates. I would not recommend her.
