Real simple, make false promises, takes advantages of your situation. And is rude to you, threatens you, takes all your money and then tries you to convince you to keep him as your lawyer and bullies your into making poor decisions. STAY AWWAYY!!

I gave him a "5" rating and a happy face because he actually represented my girlfriend's ex-husband in their divorce proceedings... and... OUR LAWYER BEAT HIM. It was a good day.

Mr.Stotland was the voice of reason during my divorce-his confidence and support made my inter- provincial divorce bearable. I had a small child and a baby when my husband decided to trade me in for a newer model- Mr.Stotland made sure I would be able to provide for my young children and that everyone would be responsible.He was always available, patient and answered my calls promptly- even after hours. I would highly recommend Mr. Stotland- and did so to several of my friends who would later find themselves in need of a outstanding lawyer. He treated them with the same respect and compassion and settled their divorces quickly and efficiently so everyone cold get on with their lives.

I agree with the others. Stay away! All he wants is your money. His billing is questionable. He has no compassion and is very condescending.

Disasterous communication skills. Convinced me to drop an appeal and settle but subsequently argued with me over the terms that ended up being far more suitable for the opposing party that anything I was ever offered. Never felt like his heart or mind was in it. Charges a ridiculous rate; 100% more expensive than the best rated lawyers on this site. Stay away!

Horrible lawyer. Rude. Arrogant. Takes ALL your money with NO results. Wrong advice all the way through....does whatever he can to drag it on and get rich in the process. Avoid at all costs unless you want to find yourself broke and left in a complete mess.
