Do not hire this man if you are a woman! Kelly Peterson was a guardian Ad Litem in a divorce case I had over 10 years ago. His blatant preference to the father was beyond astonishing. I provided information, affidavits, numbers of people he should contact, permissions and contact info for previous and current therapists.He did not read any of it or calI anyone. I completed all orders of the courts etc while Kelly kept on harassing me. The case lasted over a year and the father hadn't even met with the guardian ad litem. He withheld the kids from me multiple times and finally refused to do the evaluation that he agreed he would do. He didn't obey any order of the court.He moved at least 3 times during the proceedings and refused to tell people where he lived. He straight out lied in court and it was proved he lied. During this whole process Mr. Peterson did nothing. He wouldn't even talk to the children. My husband tried to leave the Country several times. Miraculously I got them back.

I have worked with Kelly, and know that his preparation, tenacity and his work quality are like none other. His knowledge in family law is extraordinary. I can highly recommend Kelly as an advocate who works tirelessly for his clients without doing more than is warranted.

Kelly was truly AMAZING in my divorce/custody case. It was a lengthy and complicated process. Kelly was extremely thorough and detail oriented. He was great on keeping me on task and focused. He made sure we did not waste time on things that were not pertinent to the case. I appreciated how he streamlined the process for me. Also, the office staff and paralegals were great in always communicating with me promptly when motions were filed or approved by the court. I could not have been more pleased with KMP Law! I am more than grateful for their services.

Kelly Peterson was appointed as our special master... when issues had come up, he was uninformed, insensitive, never personally resolved the any issues, Even after legal counsel consulted him, he still didn't respond or follow through with the directives that were to be implemented. He used the whole retainer and has yet to do any of the work.

Of all the attorneys I have know over the past 40-50 years, none would surpass him in honesty, integrity,and being well prepared. If you need an attorney you can trust and will fight for you, Kelly is the best!

I had heard Kelly Peterson was always on a father's side so I was very nervous about having him appointed. He was assigned to proceedings I was involved in twice, for my divorce, and a modification. The first time I was very young and my ex, being 8 years older, was an experienced liar & manipulator. He was ready to recommend supervised visits for me. I did manage joint custody, but a poorly written divorce decree. My ex started keeping my son from me so I filed for a modification. I had documented proof that I had been the sole caretaker for years with the few exceptions where my son was withheld from me. Kelly did not care what evidence I had and was not interested in my side. He wouldn't give me custody. I had an attorney so I ended up with support and a solid schedule. Recently I found out my ex husband was molesting my son and my older daughter who was not his. They were only around 4. Kelly only cares about men and it cost my children further pain. He sees women as bad as a rule.

Kelly was unprepared and did not put forth any effort on my case. HE made false allegations and dismissed important evidence. He just felt like I should try harder to get along with my ex husband (whom had criminal charges for domestic violence w/me as the victim and I had a protective order) He made me use a costly specialist- who was a partner to his brother. Then I had to use another specialist- one of his great friends and she was a disaster and cost me thousands of dollars. Kelly never interviewed anyone about my case. He used notes from the past and said they were sufficient- even though they were almost a year old. He was unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend Kelly Peterson to anyone.

I have worked with several attorneys, and none have impressed me more than Kelly Peterson. His integrity toward his clients are higher than any I've worked with. His knowledge of the law is superior in detail to many others. His ability to advocate for his clients both toward other attorneys and in court is extremely effective, and his ability to think strategically, creatively, and in anticipation of others' probable reactions and tactics, is unquestionable. My case was resolved very successfully though Kelly.

Kelly was the appointed GAL in our case. He was great, he really looked at all aspects of both sides. He was direct about the good and bad for both sides and truely looked out for the best interest of our child. I would recommend Kelly to anyone that truely cares about their child.

Dr. Chris Barden, national legal expert,said Kelly conducted the most shocking hearing he has ever seen in his career. On Dec. 26, 2006, Kelly proferred false testiony on behalf of "four experts", and withheld from the court a DCFS that said I did NOT abuse my children. This hearing resulted in me losing custody. He colluded with Rose Blakelock, my exhusband's atty, and forced me to take his brother, Andrew, as another GAL for my children. THEN, during the divorce trial, Andrew and Rose became partners!! None of the three bothered to notify the court or anyone. Kelly's MOM then went to work for Rose. Kelly never conducted the investigation the GAL is mandated to do by law. He never called on single person listed on the 4 pages of people I listed, like school teachers, etc. I know MANY other parents who have lost custody because of his lying. Kelly Peterson nees to be criminally prosucted. He was fired from Third district, and came right to Fourth District and did the same things.
