I obtained the legal services of Attorney Cynthia Gayle Smith for a civil lawsuit that I had filed pro se in Arlington, VA. Attorney Smith advertised as a Christian Attorney It turns out she was anything but Christian, ethical or competent. Attorney Smith failed to provide any legal services and in my opinion never intended to do so. Attorney Smith failed to file either an appearance with opposing counsel or the Court until after I terminated our agreement and demanded the return of my retainer.
I chose attorney Smith because she professed to be an honest Christian. Instead she conducted herself more like a Godless charlatan by engaging in despicable, unethical, unprofessional, and unscrupulous misconduct.
I filed a complaint with the Virginia State Bar, VSB Docket No. 09-051-077878, which is still being investigated after a year and a half although the evidence of misconduct is overwhelming.
